This property is picture pretty. Breakfast was wonderful and bed was very comfortable. Water pressure was very poor for showering. No air conditioning and too much street noise to open the window. Only stayed two nights.
I’ve stayed at Hotel Berchielli at least 6 times. The location is perfect and the staff are amazing. They always remember me. The two ladies at the front desk were so awesome when my luggage was lost by the airlines. This hotel isn’t super fancy and doesn’t need to be. Good clean rooms. Great breakfast. Great location. Fantastic staff! I do wish the tv had at least one English speaking station but that’s so minor and obviously doesn’t keep me from coming back year after year:)
Had an awesome stay here in Florence! Super walkable to most restaurants and shops downtown, as well as being located right on the river! The room was super clean and comfortable. We got recommendations for dinner from the front desk and they were even able to book a reservation for us. Would highly recommend a stay here, it was our favourite stay in Italy on our trip!
Our room with a view of the Arno River and Ponte Vecchio was delightful. Breakfast was very good. Service was excellent. We walked everywhere and enjoyed an excellent visit to Florence.

It was like an oven. We were there right during winter and you cannot turn off the heat in your room. We slept with all the windows completely open and were still hot. The temp in our room was horrible. What a waste of energy
It’s an antique building but with updated facilities. People are super nice!
Next to the river, close to the heart of tourist areas. Everything is walkable, with tons of dining options too. Breakfast is included with very delicious selections!
I would stay there again if i go visit the area!
I had a hard time finding the hotel due to the numbering system on the streets. The address is #14 and the GPS led me to #14 on that street but it was the wrong #14.
It just so happens that that place is abandoned.
I was tired from traveling, do not speak Italian and on foot– but after asking around I was told there are red numbers and black numbers so there are two #14's. I was finally relieved to find the hotel at he other end of a long street.
Excellent stay though!
Boutique, quaint hotel that in an excellent central location convenient for walking to key sights. 5 min walk from the Uffizi. Hotel and rooms are super clean. Nice sheets and beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast while included was not the best (better pastries to be had elsewhere) but staff were friendly and the coffee was good. Overall happy with our stay.
Gorgeous Hotel. In a side street close to Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery. Stunning features throughout hotel. Comfy room with bottle of fizz waiting in our room. Room Service wasn't great but they dont really do room service, it was just what they had access to. Breakfast was terrific. Would stay again.
We loved this hotel and it's location. Very convenient. The staff we're lovely and helpful. The breakfast room was great and the room was very comfortable. We would love to stay here again.
The only hotel I've ever stayed at that had no in room coffee maker. Location of hotel was convenient to most attractions and the river view rooms were great.
A/C didn't actually cool room and front desk and bar staff seemed a little put out with English only speaking guests, however everyone was very polite. A solid 4-4.5 stars
I am an older lady who stayed at the hotel B after my road scholar group departed. For 3 extra days, I had an elegant breakfast with personalized cappucino, walked everywhere in perfect safety and was treated so very warmly by all the staff. They even patiently helped me with my ridiculous attempts at Italian.
The Hotel was perfect and I am so grateful to all who made my stay so delightful - and memorable.
Expedia services were grand too.
This hotel was lovely! Great location and view of the Arno. Wonderful staff , friendly and efficient. Great breakfast.
Hotel bar and lobby area beautifully designed.
To have a two-bathroom suite was a dream. Service was excellent throughout, from the front desk to the dining room and housekeeping. It was perfectly located, far enough away from the the craziness of the Ponte Vecchio (even in October!) but close enough to be able to cross it in minutes. One small not-quite complaint: the mattress was too hard, which could be corrected by purchasing a mattress cover. In all, it was a wonderful stay. Thank you!
The staff were very helpful. For example, they stored our bicycles from the morning we checked in until the evening of the day we left.

The location was amazing, right next to Ponte Vecchio, and the view from our room wonderful, right on Arno river.
However, not many amenities in room, no coffee machine or kettle, no glasses even.
The breakfast buffet was good, and appreciated. Great base for visiting Florence, we walked everywhere!
I was comfortable with the stay at this location. The bottle of champagne was a welcome gift after a stressful drive into Florence. The staff was helpful. The next day I needed to stay in town and they were so gracious to hold my luggage for me and call a cab when I needed it. I definately recommend this lovely hotel.
We traveled as a family and the hotel honored our request to stay near each other. The rooms overlooked the Arno River as requested and they were lovely and clean and the view was absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and responsive. The included breakfast was delicious and the hotel was beautiful on the interior. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. I recommend it.
Excellent property to stay in while you are in Florence. It backs up to the river and is in walking distance to all the sights of interest. The rooms was large and the breakfast was very nice. There are nice places to eat near by. You can look out your window in the morning and watch the people rowing on the river and walk on the bridges at night. It was very quite and very clean.
