"Wonderfully located just near the harbor with plenty of restaurants within walking distance, we got a solid start on the day with the delicious and hearty cooked to order breakfast. It's just steps to the South West Coastal Path for short or long hikes and a nice swimming beach close by. Since Ilfracombe was our first stop on our way south, the host provided an extensive list of places we might want to visit. We were able to find free on-street parking out in front both days we stayed, but the Collingdale's own spots are reasonable and convenient too. My only complaint, and it's minor, is that the ensuite shower is quite small and hot water takes a long time to reach the upper floor. As I said—minor. I'd stay again, recommended!"

"No communication from host despite emailing several times, no access details received. Could not find property. Vrbo support contacted him to be informed house wasn’t ready to hire. Stranded 12 of us in Devon at 6pm on Friday evening of BH weekend, including baby and dog. Absolute nightmare! Only given 1 star as 0 stars wasn’t an option. "

"Entering the warm friendly reception area, you are greeted with smiles and laughter, and the staff are so friendly and chatty, making check in a breeze. The bedroom was spacious and clean, and the shower was large and had good water pressure. Evening dinner was delicious it was a 3-course meal – Fish Goujons for starter and Chicken and dauphinoise potatoes for main and fruits of the forest cheesecake for dessert. Bingo was on the go for the residents after dinner, loads of laughter and people having a really good time. My bed was comfy and a had a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was a full English breakfast and once again the meal was delicious. Ilfracombe is a town worth visiting so many things happening and the harbor is beautiful and of course Verity that is an amazing piece of art work standing at the entrance of the harbor, so much to do in the town and around the town – art classes, chocolate making classes and a History tour of Ilfracombe as well as smugglers talk and ghost hunting. Jump on a boat and head over to Lundy Island to see the Puffin birds and the beautiful scenery. Swim with the seals, off you go on a boat, jump overboard and swim with the seals. Great hiking trails and gorgeous beaches and even a theatre (Landmark Theatres) with some amazing shows across the road from the hotel. Golf courses are plentiful in the area and are definitely a must for the avid golfer, making Ilfracombe and Dilkhusa a place to see. I will be back! "

"Very good location to access North Devon. The property is cozy with added facilities recreational facilities like swimming pool and games. Good enough for a family of four for a short break. The town is stone throw away from the property with few food options. Superstore next door is huuuuugeeee bonus. Overall very good. Highly recommend "
