Staff were very friendly the room was cleaned every day and it was a nice size room as well. Breakfast was lovely and you had a choice of what to have (Full English breakfast was plenty and lovely) I would recommend it to everyone who is interested in staying at Ilfracombe.

Thank your for letting us stay. We messaged ahead to advise our car is a tad wide and we were reserved one of the larger bays which was super helpful. Our family room was perfectly sized with great amenities. All our beds were so unbelievably comfortable too! Breakfast options were great and we all filled up ahead of drive home. It’s a great location for walking into ilfracombe and exploring.

This is a lovely property that about 15 minute walk into the centre of town. The breakfast was excellent, the room was well equipped and airy, the bed was comfortable and the staff were lovely. Would recommend a stay here.

Located on main road into Ilfracombe. 20 minute walk into the harbour area or use bus stop just up the road. Enough parking for one car per group. Spacious, well-equipped room with comfortable bed, sofa, armchair, TV, coffee machine and kettle. Large bathroom with walk in shower. Nice welcome, pleasant conversation, helpful owner. Excellent breakfast with various choices.

Was a lovely place, clean room and shower/bathroom. Owners were lovely and very informative, even offered to lend me a rucksack once i realised id left mine at home. The only downside i found was i could hear guests in the rooms either side of me. Thats not the fault of the owners though. Option of a cooked breakfast each day as well.

Warm welcome felt at home.

This was second honeymoon to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary returning to where we went on honeymoon. Our original guest house was no longer open. Cairn House did not disappoint, from the moment we arrived we felt at home. Our room was on ground floor so easy access, it was large and bright with views of the hills and the sea from the large bay window. We made use of the local bus which stopped just a few yards from the front door to get into town and back in the evening to get an evening meal. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked with good choice and quality. There is also a bar area where you can get soft or alcoholic drinks during afternoon or evening. When we next return to Ilfracombe we will have no hesitation in booking here again.
