If you want a little more life and better options for boat trips etc then you should consider staying at Dezenso del Garda."

This is our 2nd visit to Residence Ca’ Del Lago. We had a wonderful holiday and will stay there again. The hotel is looking down on Torri Del Benaco so giving us a lovely view of the town, Lake Garda and the castle & Harbour not to forget a view of the beautiful sunset every evening. The property has friendly and helpful staff who are multi lingual so there is never a problem with a language barrier. The hotel is very clean, beds are very comfortable and there is everything you need in the room,...

Boutique Hotel Villa Sostaga

Gargnano

10/10 Excellent

We were lucky to be upgraded to the new spa rooms which are excellent. spacious and well equipped. Location is beautiful with stunning views high up over lake Garda and if you want to get away from it all, its ideal. Dining options were good but some staff were new, food was good but more every day options would be good for residents Could benefit from a social area, bar or similar Be prepared for a 20 minute mountain road drive to access the hotel and visit Gargnano

A modern building with a staircase leading to a covered area with plants.

Albergo Sorriso

Darfo Boario Terme

10/10 Excellent

This was an amazing find! The room was spacious with a separate dressing area and huge bathroom and spotlessly clean. The staff of this family-run hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The fix-priced menu for dinner was excellent and inexpensive and breakfast was brilliant with scrambled eggs made to order and a wide selection of savoury and sweet items. Great value for money and definitely to be recommended.

Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda

The view from room 602 (Mini-Suite) was jaw dropping and enhanced by the cloudless blue sky, mill pond view of the lake and a backdrop of the mountains with snow caps. Hotel staff were exceptional in their attention to detail from the staff at reception and throughout the facility to the unsung heroes who ensured our stay was without any low points. Beautiful room which was of an exeptional standard which wanted for nothing. The availability of a car to take you down to the lake and...

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Hotel Garda Life. We were immediately welcomed by Gigliona, a remarkably kind and friendly receptionist. Her excellent English was a huge help, as I couldn't communicate in Italian, and she made our check-in completely seamless. The hotel is perfectly located: it's close to many great restaurants, a gelateria, a shopping area, a Coop market, and it's just a five-minute walk to Lago di Garda. Our room was spotless, featuring a wonderfully comfy bed and an...

Hotel Excelsior Le Terrazze

Garda

10/10 Excellent

Just returned from a lovely week at the Excelsior. The hotel is in a lovely position just outside the main town which was ideal as we were less than 5 minutes from the ferries and restaurants but more peaceful (apart from the night when a radio show was being broadcast from the nearest bar, although it wasn't unbearably loud). The staff were, without exception, excellent - polite, friendly and helpful. We had originally booked a standard room which was ok, if rather small, but fortunately...

DoubleTree by Hilton Brescia

Loved this hotel. Staff at reception could not be nicer or more helpful. The tall man in the bar was awesome and worked so hard. Breakfast was a real let down. It was inconvenient and mean! Could not eat the eggs and the croissants were stale. Made no sense to have to queue for the hot food, croissants and coffee. This puts terrible pressure on the poor staff who are worked off their feet. The hotel is obviously short staffed. What a pity! Everything else was so nice!

Hotel Porto Azzurro

Very easy to find - we got the bus from Train station to Colombare. (Bottom end of Sirmione, great place to stay. Shuttle bus for 1 euro takes you to main area which is about 35 mins walk, nice walk though) The area is quiet and roads very clean with lovely flower borders all along. S Reception & other staff all very friendly and helpful. Room very clean, very simple decor but how long are you in your room? Clean bathroom very limited toiletries lovely clean soft towels. You can also hire...
