The staff was generally great, and I appreciated that my requests were met. Breakfast was decent, though nothing special. The pool areas had a really nice vibe, and the deep tissue massage I got was one of the best I’ve ever had. The location was also pretty convenient for getting around. The downsides: I received dirty towels twice during my stay, which was disappointing. More importantly, my friends and I did experience subtle racism while there. I can deal with stares from other guests, but getting that kind of energy from staff was uncomfortable. Since we were a big group, the negative attitudes we felt from some employees really stood out and took away from the experience. I hope management takes this seriously and provides better training so all guests feel welcomed, especially people of color. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement."
