We stayed 4 nights whilst visiting family in Godmanchester.
We stayed 4 nights whilst visiting family in Godmanchester. The cottage was lovely - compact but with everything we needed for our stay. A problem with the drains was sorted out very quickly by the manager so no real inconvenience.

Really sweet cottage in a quiet semi rural location.
Really sweet cottage in a quiet semi rural location. Amazing gardens and island to walk in and set in a delightful town. The hosts were helpful even though the broadband system was down for a few days. The town itself has every facility especially the pubs with great food. The cottage is quirky and delightful. Just about enough kitchen space, excellent shower room and really comfortable bedPS the dog loved it as well!!

The Potting Shed offered everything we could need for a relaxing break in Cambridgeshire.
The Potting Shed offered everything we could need for a relaxing break in Cambridgeshire. On arrival we were greeted by the owner who made us feel very welcome. The property is situated in stunning grounds adjacent to the river Great Ouse. Godmanchester is a charming village with several comfortable pubs and other amenities. Opposite the property is a convenience store for papers, groceries etc. I would recommend spending a day in Ely and visiting the stunning Cathedral. Also The Wimpole Estate, Anglesea Abbey and Wicken Fen, all National Trust. All in all, a great destination, highly recommended.
