Stunning Coastal Cottage - Sleeping 4 in 2 Bedrooms - Pool and Beach Access Included.

"Dream bay is perfect for a couple or a small family. We travelled as a couple with a dog and the cottage was ideal with dog friendly walks on the door step. The beach is short walk away around 10 minutes and the beach is perfect for all . Plenty within a short car journey to visit such as Whitby and Scarbourgh and the rspb reserve nearby which if lucky you may see Puffins, We would certainly recommend the cottage and site for a short break to explore North Yorkshire."

"We loved our stay at beachcomber cottage. Well stocked with all items needed, including a complimentary box with dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, a tea towel, coffee, teabags, milk, sugar and biscuits. Lovely and clean. Enjoyed walks to the beach, dog loved the sea. Will look forward to more stays here in the future."

"We had a good week at Maris Cottage, it was our second stay on The Bay and with Anchor bay holidays. The location was great for us, though it is a bit of a walk to the beach from this particular property. It is close to walks around the wildflower meadows and lodges which was good for the dogs. The downstairs bedroom came in very useful for my Father in Law who is struggling with long-term illness. The outside area at the back of the house was good, there's not much space to it, but the furniture was nice for sitting out on. I ended up placing a stake in the ground so I could let the dog stay safely outside with me. Everything in the house was relatively clean, though we did end up washing the cushion covers off the sofas as they were quite dirty. The house would definitely benefit from some kind of stair/baby gate, as we had the dogs with us and had to make a barricade using dining chairs to prevent them going upstairs. One thing I would mention, if you have dogs which have a prey drive, there are rabbits and pigeons around! My dog went into hunting mode a couple of times! I feel like we will definitely return to the bay again in future.- even more so, if there were properties with enclosed gardens or patios available."

"My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Shell Cottage with our little dog. We have visited the Bay a few times now and find it so quiet and relaxing. Shell Cottage was in a lovely position to get the sunshine in the morning while eating breakfast then again after a day out coming back and relaxing on the comfortable sofa with a cuppa feet up soaking up the sun through the front window, I was in my element. The bed was comfortable we slept very well. If I were to knit pick I would like to see the bathroom with a fresh coat of paint and more knives and forks as there were only 3 of each which was enough for my husband and I but a larger family would have problems eating together. Also need some teaspoons as there wasn’t any. All in all nothing stopped us from having a wonderful time at Shell Cottage and would certainly recommend it to others we didn’t want to leave to go home."
