Minus side: very uneven service, worn facilities with lower two floors dank with smelly drains, no lobby and few amenities (no tea kettle or soap in the rooms). The manager is very helpful but isn't around much, while the young woman speaks no English and ignores guests. Liwu hotel is very close to Taroko National Park, that is why we chose it . It is in a small town so there are very few options to eat in the town. You can get to the hotel by bus from the Xiechen station. The hotel staff is very helpful Room was clean and had all the necessary amenities except in room coffee.
