Hotel was great. Cleaning staff didn't refresh minibar and TV didn't work. Otherwise, awesome!

One of the nicest places we have stayed.

Posted 02-Jun-2017
Pros: Its a great looking place. The gym is huge and the kids loved the indoor basketball courts. The pool ares are great and there is a bar outside.
Cons: If anything maybe just make the main pool area bigger. Chairs get taken quickly.
Location: This Hotel is located near the Galleria area so there are plenty of great restaurants and shopping.
We have stayed in quite a few different places in Houston but this one is our favorite now. Its beautiful and close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. If you can get the half off concierge service I recommend it. Comes with finger foods and a bar, so I definitely drank my moneys worth. There is a lot to do here but if your like me just the pool is good to relax. I notice some reviews saying the rooms are small. I don't know what room they got but ours was just fine. We will definitely be staying here again.

Covered self parking. Wonderful bar, for adults who appreciate a nice atmosphere and an opportunity to wind down. Nice room overlooking nothing but trees--how can you beat that?

Classy hotel

Posted 03-May-2017
Pros: Classy staff, great bar and proximity to nearby business areas.
Cons: Parking garage & ramps are designed for smaller 1980s cars, they struggle with modern SUVs. Post Oak blvd is narrow and access is slow.
Traditional hotel in Houston, near to Galleria, Post Oak and Memorial areas. The hotel is an early 1980s construction that has excellent health and gym facilities next door. Popular with oil execs, the layout is a little old school, with access to the various room and conference levels via a strange array of staircases, elevators and mezzanine levels. The layout and rooms, while clean and in perfect condition could do with a design refresh

Beautiful and quiet

Posted 02-May-2017
Pros: Pillows and bed were awesome
Cons: Update the room a little, but it still had lots of character and was super clean.
Location: Went to an Astros Baseball Game
A great experience too bad I couldn't stay longer to enjoy the pools

The hotel is beautiful and comfortable; having access to the spa was exceptional which included three outdoor pools that are temperature control. If I'm in Houston again this will be my preferred hotel. It's nice to stay at a class hotel that's not a chain.

Nice hotel

A very nice hotel in a very secluded area. Service was first class. It would be nice if smokers were not allowed in the outside bar area. We had to move when 3 smokers arrived, that was a shame.
