The home has a private office area if you plan to work and play during your stay ! A formal living area with a sofa that opens to a Queen bed if NEEDED (bedding for this is kept in the laundry room cabinet ) A large formal dining area with a beautiful table that can seat 8-10 guest ! A well appointed kitchen with a 5 burner gas cooktop, convection oven , microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, full size refrigerator with water and ice dispenser- combo coffee maker (pot /keurig) the kitchen is stocked with lots of plates, glasses, silverware - small appliances can be found in the walk in pantry which is across from the small mini bar area which has a wine cooler, wine opener, wine glasses and more ! Off the kitchen is a breakfast table that seats 6 and the high top bar has two bar stools for extra seating ! The large living room is just off the kitchen so you can entertain guest easily while you prep meals and enjoy big screen tv ! (we have electric window screens for the living areas and the breakfast area ) The living area has comfortable leather couches that recline so kick you legs up and relax and watch a movie on the Big Screen TV that hangs above the gas fireplace which is perfect for chilly nights ( it's easy to operate and no messing with bringing in logs or a messy clean up ) There is a half bath off this living area with a toilet and sink for guest to use ! The laundry room is on the main floor with full size stacked washer/dryer with a laundry cabinet stocked with soap pods, dryer sheets and laundry basket for dirty laundry as well as ironing board and iron / mud bench ! The entrance to the garage is in the laundry room \~ you will find a nice garage with epoxy flooring , there is a locked storage cabinet where we keep supplies (for the cleaning team only ) a ping pong/ air hockey combo table the little ones and big ones alike will enjoy ! The Trash cans are kept in the garage we offer 3 of them as well as a red container that is for recycled items-PLEASE PLACE TRASH AT CURB ON TRASH DAYS ( trash day info is posted in the home on side of refrigerator ) Keep in mind if you plan to park in the garage one side is available but it's a tight fit and will accommodate a small vehicle only ! The main floor bedroom ( Room #1 ) is large and has an adjustable king size bed with a large screen TV , ceiling fan, lots of storage for your personal items , a bench at the end of the bed, electric window screens , a door that exits the bedroom onto the side patio and pool area so this room has its own private entry to the beautiful outdoors! Off this room is a spa like bathroom with a Large jetted soaking tub with color changing lights, bluetooth speaker with night light in the ceiling, double vanities with sinks, large walk in shower with rainfall shower head and hand held shower spray wand and a teak wood bench , a linen closet stocked with plush towels, a private toilet room, a walk in closet with lots of storage! UPSTAIRS: You will find a game room with a pool table and a game closet with card games, board games , children's books etc.. You will find four bedrooms upstairs each with ceiling fans, tv's , lots of storage , large closets, nice bedding with lots of pillows! (Room #2) has a King bed (Room #3) has a Queen bed (Room #4 ) Has a Queen Bed (Room#5) has bunk beds with a full size bed on the bottom and a twin on top - there is also an infant crib in this room \~ in this room you will also find a diaper disposal (you will need to put a trash bag inside of this before using - high chair and a (4 moms )pack and play in the closet ! There is a Full size bathroom(sink, toilet, tub/shower combo ) that is shared between bedroom #2 and #3 with adjoining doors ( Jack and Jill style bathroom ) There is a Full size bathroom that is in the hallway between bedroom #4 and #5 to be shared (sink, toilet , tub/shower combo) Both bathrooms are stocked with lots of towels hand towels - washcloths as well as makeup washcloths and makeup removing moist towelettes Outside: Step out into a beautiful backyard oasis that over looks a man made lake with fountains - gorgeous pool (Pool can be heated upon request for an additional fee this takes aprox. 24 hrs depending on the outdoor temps ) Large jetted spa that will easily sit 8-10 adults comfortably ! (no charge for heating the spa it heats up very quickly ) Please turn off the spa when leaving the home or retiring for the evening- keep in mind that the heater that heats the spa also heats the pool so if you paid to heat the pool and leave the spa running all day realize the pool water temp will drop during this time period if it's for a extended amount of time ! We have two patio areas one with a table and chairs to seat six with a ceiling fan over the table, dartboard and darts, giant jenga game, corn hole game ! We have another seating area by the pool and lake we store the cushions for this couch and chairs in storage container on the patio to protect them from the weather ( Please do not store away wet to prevent mildewing ) this area also has a fire pit and provided small supply of wood and fire starters , we ask that you keep the fire pit on the concrete and do not move it into the grass area ! On the larger side patio we have a large outdoor kitchen area where you will find a grill , double sinks with a garbage disposal , lots of storage and utensils for cooking , a full size refrigerator and freezer (ice maker in the lower freezer ) outside pantry supplied with pool towels , floats, life jackets for little ones and plastic dishes and cups to be used in and around the pool ( NO GLASS ALLOWED IN OR AROUND POOL AND SPA ) you will also find an outdoor bath/shower room with a toilet , sink and shower ( This bath has no AC or heat ) A very nice bar top with bar stools with a living area to relax and watch the big screen tv on movie nights or to catch your favorite sports ! We have an electric fireplace to enjoy as well as outdoor electric solar screens you can close for privacy or on chilly breezy nights close them to warm up \~ on hot summer days you can close them partially to help block the sun but still allow air flow to help keep you cool with them partially open ( WHEN LEAVING THE HOME OR GOING IN FOR THE NIGHT PLEASE OPEN THE SCREENS IN EVENT OF HIGH WINDS \~ ALSO REMEMBER TO CLOSE THE POOL UMBRELLAS FOR THE SAME REASON) When going in for the night or leaving the property in the evening turn off the patio lights - the lights on the fence are on a timer so no need to turn these off and the ceiling perimeter mood lighting can stay on they are hard wired there is no switch ! Our Community : Within our Safe gated community you can enjoy a splash pad( seasonal) tennis courts, basketball courts, community pools(seasonal) parks for your little ones as well as a workout room for Adults only at the front club house we will leave guest access cards for you and your guest to use to get into the amenities (same card you use to come into the front entrance \~ You have access from our backyard to a 1.2 mile walking trail around the lake where you can take a casual relaxing walk and enjoy the wildlife ( birds, fish, turtles ) or take a morning run or jog .. whatever your heart desires , we also have a soccer field around the corner from the house ! BACKUP GENERATOR : We are in Texas and sometimes things happen that are out of our control such as Thunderstorms , hurricanes and on rare occasions freezing temps .. We are prepared to keep our guest comfortable with a full house generator so the minute the power goes out our generator kicks on and you will not be left in the dark without AC or heat ! We've thought of everything so you don't have to worry ! We are part of an HOA community so there are rules that must be followed in order to keep our neighborhood safe and enjoyable with that being said we MUST enforce Quiet Hours to prevent disturbing our neighbors and getting unwanted middle of the night phone calls with complaints - We want you and your guest to have an AMAZING experience but we also need to make sure our neighbors as well as ourselves have a Great experience while your visiting so keep in mind as much as this home looks inviting for Parties and large gatherings of friends (this is not allowed ) NO UNAUTHORIZED GUEST ARE ALLOWED AT THE PROPERTY If you book the home for 8-10 guest this is what we are expecting to be at the home during your stay \~ if you are in town to visit family or friends and plan to have them over to visit we understand but this must be approved by the HOST in advance and in some cases an (extra guest fee may apply ) This has been our private home for the past 20 plus years and we ask you to be respectful of the noise level as our neighbors are also our friends and will call us no matter the time of day if they are being disturbed by excessive noise / music etc.. ( this includes the front of the home as well as the back of the home so be mindful when coming and going late at night or early morning ) We have OUTDOOR SECURITY CAMERAS THAT ARE RECORDING 24/7 at the front of our home - the sides and rear of the home this is for security purposes for your protection as well as ours \~ your privacy is never compromised we only view these if we receive complaints about the noise level or parties that are not allowed or extreme number of vehicles at the home parked in front of neighbors homes. The house was perfectly suited to accommodate our group of 6, in town for a thanksgiving family reunion in Tomball. It was exactly as advertised: spacious, comfortable and clean. We truly had the best time in the Elder home. We really appreciated having a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ area to cook and grill - it was the icing on the cake! Lots of amenities and lots of thought to the guest experience. Would definitely stay here again for work or personally. Our team prefers to stay this way instead of hotels with all the travel we do. The owners were excellent with communication and providing directions/instructions for everything. Very nice neighborhood and the hot tub and pool are amazing with the lake view. The property was amazing and the layout with the pool was perfect! We have stayed at quite a few other vacation rentals/vrbo properties and it was very clean and the amenities were one of the best.the hosts were very quick to reply to any questions we had. The house was fully stocked. There were a lot of amenities for the pool along with the kitchen which can be unusual. It is a great home to relax wether that is inside or outside and made our family reunion one to remember ##### Justin O. The house fit us all very nicely and we had plenty of space to hang out. The hot tub was huge and we hung out there a lot. The pool was great as well. The hosts were great to work with and always answered our questions immediately. They went above and beyond on a couple of asks and respected our privacy through it all. My family and I enjoyed ourselves overall. The only downfall was the limitations on what you could cook inside of the home. Most of the time when you go on vacation, fish and barbecue are the main go to's, especially for my family. There was a complaint filed on us for loud noise, but I tried my best to keep the kids quiet, but they were enjoying the pool. Overall, we really enjoyed the property. We stayed at the home to attend our daughter’s wedding. This was the most fabulous home to host our immediate family with lots of entertaining spaces. The pool and hot tub were a big hit every day. The huge grill with full outdoor kitchen allowed us to feed our big family in comfort. This home is immaculately clean and maintained with so Many thoughtful surprises provided. The photographs online were beautiful and the property was even better once we walked in the door. The owners have thought of everything! All of the appliances worked and the pantry was fully stocked with useful items. While we didn't use the pool, we did spend time in the hot tub and using the outside kitchen facility. The owners even suppplied all of ingredients for smores including the fully prepared firepit. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this was by far the best experience! ##### John B. The owners spared no expense in creating a home away from home. Robert and Debra have thought of everything to make the stay perfect. We were in town for a celebration of life and it was perfect for the family to gather before and after. The pool and pool table were a hit with the boys and the outdoor kitchen was amazing for the old men! For the women, Debra thought of everything and we felt spoiled in her home. The location of the home is very centrally located and easy to get to grocery stores and the freeway. It is a MUST for larger groups.. absolutely amazing. Debra & Robert communicated quickly anytime we had a question. The house was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. We all enjoyed the warm pool and hot tub every day and the outdoor area with view of the lake. As soon as we walked in, our teen daughters said they wanted to stay longer!! It was the perfect place for our post cruise continuing vacation before heading back home, close enough to the airport, yet in a beautiful neighborhood that's close enough to anything we needed. Everything in the house was of high quality from the towels, dishes, furnishings, carpet, beds and linens. She wanted to stay in a big house with a pool. This was above our expectations. Super clean. Super beautiful. Literal paradise in the city. The owners were so gracious and accommodating. Even helping us figure out the pool remote 😅 They really went out of their way to make sure everything was just how she wanted it. Making her 10th birthday one to remember for sure. Was beautifully appointed and the hosts went above and beyond in providing welcome snacks and instructions for every aspect. The heated pool and spa were wonderful for all family members. Every room and the kitchen are wll equipped. When a misunderstanding occurred on the booking, they were beyond gracious and everything was resolved beyond expectations. This was an important family gathering that may not occur again. I am eternally grateful that we were led to book this particular property with these two amazing property owners, who take such a personal interest in providing a special and welcoming environment! I hope all my VRBO experiences are as first class as this one. We were visiting Houston to participate in Ironman Texas, Woodlands TX. The location was perfect for the race because it was close but outside the crowds of Woodlands. Restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, liquor stores were all within a few miles. The house was immaculately clean. We cooked often and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. And most importantly they provided coffee for those early morning wakeups. The layout of the house was perfect for a large group. There was plenty of seating both inside and out. The hot tub was amazing with its custom tile and perfect temperature. All the amenities from the furniture to the remotely controlled sun shades were of the highest quality. These extras truly made our stay that much more enjoyable. Thank you Debra and Robert. The house more than met our expectations and was both spotless and beautifully decorated. We spent a lot of our time outdoors by the beautiful and well maintained pool with its lovely view of the lake and fountain. The well equipped outdoor kitchen, as well as the comfy seating and dining areas were well used and enjoyed. Thanks to the ceiling fans and sun shielding screens, these areas were comfortable even in the heat of the day. We vacation as a family every summer and we all agreed that this was the most well stocked house we have rented. In addition to the usual things you might expect, there was a welcome box of assorted snacks and extra amenities in the bathrooms. Debra and Rob couldn't have been nicer or more attentive to our needs. They came to greet us and explain the workings of various things in the house and pool area and responded promptly whenever there was a need. We especially appreciated them when Hurricane Beryl came to mar the last days of our idyllic vacation. They came beforehand to secure outdoor furniture and bring us flashlights and immediately afterwards to clean up and provide a generator to give us partial power. As a result of their efforts, the storm was more of an inconvenience than a catastrophe. We highly recommend this lovely home to anyone visiting the Houston area. ##### Barry h.
