"Comfortable and quiet (mid week) stay at this pub in the lovely town of Tenbury Wells. Basic room and decor but bed was very comfortable. I was expecting more noise from the pub but it was very quiet. Car park a little tight in places but can’t be helped. They offer breakfast however also plenty of cafes in the town including one at the back of the pub. Would stay again."

"The rooms were spacious, clean and well maintained; dinner and Sunday lunch were excellent; breakfast was spectacular. All the staff were efficient and friendly. Thank you."
The Lion

"The Lion is a charming country inn with a helpful staff. The full English breakfast is very well cooked and presented and dinner in their dining room was very good. Like many other country inns, there are steps up, down and curved which can be a challenge for older travelers trying to navigate them with luggage."

"What the photos do not show is the all night petrol station next to the hotel which spoils the experience a little. Have a look on street view. The hotel itself is fine."

The Radnorshire Arms Hotel

"An old building with historic interest situated in a town with many interesting old building which is well worth a walk around. The staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meals and Sunday carvery were tasty and specials were explained. A thing to note is that there is no lift so mobility needs to be good to walk up stairs which was not a problem for us. Enjoyed our stay here and will be back next year as still much more to explore in the ares"

"I stay here when working away from home, it does what it says , it’s an ideal base with great staff . Good food too . No cooked breakfast but then that suits me as I can grab and go from a self service area , no hanging around . Ideal !"
