"Cute little place for me and my husband to stay for the weekend. Wish we would have spent more time in our room rather than out exploring. I know some other reviews mentioned the WiFi- however it was nice to not have that. It forced us to be off our phones and together. We will def stay again. "
"The house and property is absolutely adorable! Lots of towels and having the hot tub was great! True “unplugged” experience and was exactly what was needed. Ignore the directions once you get on the correct main road. It will tell you your destination is on the right (in a field with nothing) and it’s up the road another 1/2-3/4 miles on the LEFT with a sign with address listed. It it’s daylight when you arrive- the old round barn is a good landmark to look for across the road. Took a minute to figure out but we followed the suggestion in the pre-arrival letter and a review noting this and found it. My only wishes would have been: a rug at the front door to prevent tracking in wet/rainy shoes and it is time for some paint touch ups on wall scratches and cabinets around knobs, and the cushion cover on the ivory chair needs washed- but this is minor and the place is decorated adorably. There is no closet or storage in the bedroom other than one open shelf on the nightstand. Additional hanging hooks like the entry way behind the bedroom door or more in the bathroom would be a very huge help; or night stands with drawers to be able to put a few things away. We may be weird in the fact we like to “nest” and put things away like we’re “home”and not live out of our bag during our stay. Even though there are other cabins on the grounds- you feel like you’re all by yourself the way the deck and hot tub overlook the woods and hills. Huge windows so a wonderful view even if inside! "

10/10 Excellent
"The cabin was not only darling and a wonderful retreat, but the little touches that were left (s'mores kits, wood, lighters, snacks) only endeared the property to us even more. We enjoyed a hike on the nature trail on the property and loved having a cozy fire in the evening. The beds were also top tier and we all slept like babies. We can't wait to come back. "
"The hot tub was dirty but the kids used it anyway. I think that is because of the soft cover. I expected toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and there was some but glad I brought extra. I did have to go purchase silverware at the dollar store which I left there because there were 5 each spoons and forks and one butter knife. The sofa bed is no longer there so if we would have had 10 people as expected, one would have had to sleep on the couch. The only game was poker, no board games as expected. Overall we had a good weekend. Hiking was awesome as always! Appliances were all good and heat/ac worked well. From the Photos I expected to be more secluded but for the most part it was a nice getaway! "
"Belgium, waffles coffees, toast, granola bars the breakfast was what we expected it would be thrown was clean. The bed was a little too soft for our liking he kind of sunk into the middle of it, but overall, it was a good stay."
"This house was perfect for two smaller families. Cute decor, plenty of space for everyone, two bathrooms, tvs in all bedrooms and living room. I loved that they included plenty of towels and toilet paper, trash bags, extra blankets. This house had everything you need. We cooked multiple meals, grilled some brats. The location was convenient to the lake for kayaking and fishing and the forest for hiking. Enjoyed the sunset from the front porch and, had many laughs in the hottub. I would definitely return and recommend it."

The house itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was definitely a highlight for us—such a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. You can really tell this place is cared for, and it made our trip even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful getaway!"
