Great Location
This review covers both the management company and the room.
The Ilikai Hotel is a beautiful iconic building. It is located close to the beach, lagoon and shopping. The lanai captured the rising sun and a 45° view of the lagoon and ocean. The room had all the accessories needed for a comfortable month and a half stay. After our first week we washed the sheets and mattress cover. There was a large stain on the mattress rendering it unsanitary and a total loss. I believe the owner and the management company were both unaware of the issue.
The management company immediately moved us to a new unit. I give Marina Hawaii Vacations the highest five star rating. They agreed that the mattress needed to be replaced. The owner lives out of country and was notified. By the time I was notified that the window for comments was closing the mattress had not been replaced. This problem is a simple fix. Upon replacement of the mattress, I am sure the management company will follow up with a reply of said replacement. I found in dealing with the management company that they had integrity and managed with a responsibility to both tenant and owner. I trust the word of the management company. Upon replacement of the mattress this negative comment will be a moot point.
