We didn’t do much cooking as there a number of fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Lanai was large and gave a great view to the Friday night fireworks. Parking was an added plus! All the things you need and some things you don't, but are sure nice to have. Beds were comfy, nice seating and accessories for the beach were on the balcony. Often a major inconvenience in a vacation home is little consideration for parking. A parking pass to the extremely convenient Hale Koa lot is included. All supplies stocked that you need for a week. Apartment is obviously well maintained. Beach Walk is a small side street in Waikiki and considering that this is a downtown location, the view is quite nice. Only downside: the noise level, with constant presence of delivery trucks, engines running and cooling units screaming, throughout the morning, starting very early. Then again, if you are looking for serenity, you will not stay in downtown Honolulu anyway. Big bonus: check in with live person. Paul was our property manager and very friendly & responsive. Everything so much more convenient than dealing with automated systems and emailed lock codes. Two thumbs up for Paul! ##### Frank P.
