Kick back and relax in this roomy two-story townhouse with big lanais (verandas) upstairs and downstairs, right on the marina. Gorgeous sunsets and views over the water at night in this tropical paradise. You'll be returning to a true retreat, a haven of peace and calm, whenever you get back home, but it's centrally located—plenty of shopping and restaurants, surrounded by breathtaking beaches and mountains. Comfortable for four: Two bedrooms, two bathrooms with baths and showers & a guest bathroom downstairs. Pool, hot tub and barbecue grills on the property. Walking distance from shopping & restaurants. The downstairs lanai is the size of a modest living room. You can host guests, lounge, dine, watch movies or comfortably sleep overnight out there. I've made the third bedroom into an office and will lock this up to store away my personal things. This extinct volcano crater used to house a railroad jutting up the near vertical side of the volcano crater and was used as a bunker during WWII. Some remnants still remain today and are now used to perch upon the best lookout spots to ooo and ahh over views of Diamond Head, Moanalua Bay, and out towards Makapu'u on the Eastern Shores of Hawaii Kai. When I used to live in Hawaii Kai when I attended UH Manoa, this was my exercise five days a week, since I lived right across the street. I lovingly call this climb "The Stair Master of Death" TIP: Go early for sunrise to beat the heat, or go late for sunset when it isn't as crowded.
