The area is nearby a lot of fun stuff. The staff is AMAZING!!! Parking is a challenge. VRBOs pay big for each night onsite, but if you find a spot out front on the road and download the app you can pay by the hour. Parking along the canal is free but check the times carefully as to not get towed. Now I get that it might not be their fault however when we found out the price was changed over 10 years ago (valet said so) the host just ignored us. Mark's & David's studio apt. was perfect for my wife and me. The pictures were accurate and the location was ideal, midway between Ala Moana mall and the east end of Waikiki, with great access to the beach and to buses. The view on the 19th floor was great for sunrises. Kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, glasses, cups, and other utensils, but a grocery run should be top of the list on day 1 (bus over to Don Quijote or Times). Tinted glass, and AC, kept the heat down. Overkill on the shower head, but the right amount of pressure. As a tech person, I greatly appreciated all the USB ports bedside for charging. We had a wonderful stay; it was comfortable, clean, quiet, and had many useful features including access to laundry facilities. This was a great spot to enjoy Paradise! Very clean, and looks just as pictured. Located in a quiet area near Fort DeRussy Park, but still close to Friday night’s fireworks and beach. Everything was seamless. Instructions were clear. The Royal Garden staff were helpful in getting checked in. Room was clean and low-key.
