Stayed 9 nights in Jul 2024 ### 8/10 Good #### Theresa K. 21 Jun 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Review of VRBO Pros: hosts were nice and provided good communication, a lot of space, plenty of linens and towels, laundry, balcony, paper towels and toilet paper, comfy bed, free parking, overall clean condo. Cons: cockroaches were present especially at night despite keeping all of our food in the fridge and making sure the dishes were washed and counters were cleaned. We understand that the building has a pest control issue based on the signs posted and the host has informed us that they spray the unit and leave baits out, however not having to stress about cockroaches on our vacation would have been a better situation. ##### Theresa K. Having a washer/dryer in unit was a great amenity. As well as a nice/well stocked kitchen! The parking space was perfect. Easy instructions and easy stay! The building is a little older and elevator waits were a bit long at times but not a major inconvenience as they are under repair, so expect should be resolved soon. Enjoyed sitting on the rooftop and enjoying the Hawaiian breeze & sunsets! We did encounter an issue and the host, Jane, was very accommodating and quickly helpful. Unit is a few blocks from beach, a block from shopping, etc. and an easy commute to airport. Recommend adding a ceiling fan for the bedroom. Overall, our stay was great and would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Oahu! ##### Rita A. Janeā€™s apartment was in the perfect launching point so that we could do that. I had family mostly in Honolulu but other events in Kaneohe, Kalihi and Nuuanu. Needless to say being somewhere centralized was important. The unit was spacious, clean and the larger balcony was perfect to relax with a lovely view of the Ala Wai Canal and the night lights of the mountains. I would highly recommend Janes place and appreciate her calm demeanor when our rental car would not start on the day we were to leave and had to scramble to arrange for the car to be retrieved from the rental agency along with getting to the airport just in time for our flight!
