When we first arrived we were checked into a room right away. We went to the room and it was disgusting! There was hair on the bedding, tables and tv stands were dirty with fingerprints and sand all over them, tooth paste on the counters and mirrors and worst of all. The room smelt like smoke and the ceiling was brown as if it was a smokers room. They were able to move us rooms pretty easily. The next room I would classify as a little better but not super clean. The rooms were basic: king bed, little table and chairs to sit in, two night stands, a mirror and bathroom. The tv worked great and we had a great view. The doors to leave the room slam and the walls were paper thin. If you’re a light sleeper you could hear the sirens on the street and cars racing up and down the road. You could also hear all the people on your floor leaving their rooms. The elevators backed up a ton of times to the point where they had to have a repair person come to see what was going on. The best part of the stay was having access to the coconut club for breakfast every morning. It did not disappoint. Breakfast was on the 22nd floor facing the ocean. 3 choices of a main course, pineapple juice or water, unlimited fruit, and pastries. If you stay here I recommend that you pay to have this so you don’t have to worry about breakfast. I wish we knew that we were on the opposite side of where most of the shops and food was, but this was the first time we stayed on Oahu so that was our fault.
