There is truly no end to the stores to wander through, unique dining options, and entertainment such as Hula lessons or cultural shows closeby. But, if you prefer to explore more of Waikiki or even the greater Oahu area, there are several transportation options. There is a bus stop located 3 minutes from the Island Colony building. There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby, which can be used to explore Waikiki. They have bbq’s on the 6th Floor where you can cook up your own food, you got from the market. I took advantage of the pool, hot tub and sauna almost every day. Hot tub and sauna was great to relax after a day of touring around . They have a small convenience shop on the 6th floor. Lots of laundry machines, reasonable prices to use. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Newly refurbished and just as advertised. Lovely accommodation with the a stunning view in a fab part of Honolulu. The owners were really responsive and very helpful. Even the planned external improvements didn’t really impact our stay so all good. In terms of the apartment, there are a few suggestions for improvements to help with the practicalities of the stay:1\. The aircon leaks all over lanai and needs addressing 2\. Washing and drying kitchen items is challenging in with the onlySink being in the bathroom. 3\. The addition of a clothes airer would be useful to help dry wet towels etc4\. A few more kitchen items such as a sieve/strainer, salad bowl etc would be goodHaving said all that our stay was fabulous and we would definitely highly recommend. ##### Andrea J H.
