Hairdryer wasn’t working when we checked in late at night. Even after 2 calls and one visit down to the reception within 50 mins at around 1am, we still waited for very long. Turns out there was a miscommunication between the receptionist and the housekeeping staff. The housekeeping staff took that long to find a standing humidifier. She barged into the room without us allowing her to come in too. After we clarified that we requested for a hairdryer and not a humidifier, she spent another 15 mins to pass us one. We spoke in Cantonese to both the receptionist and staff so we’re not sure where is the miscommunication here. Took us more than an hour to just get a mere hairdryer issue settled at almost 2 in the morning after a flight.
