A FEW MOUNTAIN HOUSE ESSENTIALS
MOUNTAIN SERENITY
Tahoe Pines is a peaceful residential community.
Please be considerate of our neighbors and respect quiet hours from 8 PM to 8 AM.
Sound carries surprisingly far in the clear mountain air, especially outdoors.
Excessive noise complaints may result in a $300 community fine.
WINTER DRIVING & SNOW
This is the Sierra Nevada, and winter conditions are part of the experience.
Neighborhood roads are regularly maintained and plowed, but significant storms can create challenging driving conditions.
Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive with appropriate winter tires is strongly recommended during snowy conditions.
Chains may be required by California authorities, even for some AWD or 4WD vehicles.
Please monitor weather forecasts and road conditions before traveling.
SEASONAL OUTDOOR ACCESS
Heavy snowfall can limit access to parts of the elevated deck and outdoor furniture.
Some outdoor furnishings may be stored during winter.
The private hot tub is intended for year-round enjoyment, subject to safe weather conditions, maintenance, and any temporary operational restrictions.
HOT TUB SAFETY
Please follow the posted Drifthaus hot tub guidelines.
Children must be appropriately supervised, and guests should follow all safety instructions, including recommended soaking durations and temperature precautions.
No glass containers in or around the hot tub.
BEACH & PIER ACCESS
The neighborhood beach is public.
The adjacent private pier is HOA property and accessed through a gated entrance using a key fob.
The pier is available year-round and wraps around a buoyed swimming area.
Swimming, jumping into the lake, and launching paddleboards are permitted activities, subject to posted safety rules and conditions.
Temporary boat passenger loading and unloading is permitted.
Boat parking and mooring are not permitted.
Please respect the HOA’s rules and the privacy of neighboring residents.
PETS
Drifthaus is currently a pet-free property.
We love animals, but unfortunately cannot accommodate pets.

WEATHER & CANCELLATIONS
