This single-storey hideaway nestles in the picturesque grounds of a former rectory and is ideal for country and coastal walks. Sleeping four guests, and welcoming dogs, the two-bedroom holiday home is one of four nestled in beautiful gardens, 5 miles from Holsworthy and 12 miles from Bude.
Climb four steps to enter the cottage and find yourselves in a bright, welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Pull off your wellies and pop the kettle on in the kitchen area to make a cup of tea to enjoy with a fresh scone with Cornish or Devon cream. Also, find everything you need here to help you whip up tasty meals for your family and friends. Sink back into the soft seating to gaze out of the window, read a book or watch TV. One part of the room has been arranged as a dining area, with a large table for everyone to gather around. As eyelids begin to droop, settle any four-legged friends for the night and make your way through to either the Super king-size or twin bedroom, which can be requested as a Double. These are both comfortable and inviting, providing the perfect surroundings for a great night’s sleep. While away sunny days on your private patio. Take a walk through the tranquil, shared grounds and look out for wildlife. There is private parking here for two cars.
Make a few sandwiches and head off to the coast for a spell. Bask in the sunshine on the sand at Widemouth Bay, 10.5 miles away, or take a swim in the sea or tidal pool at Summerleaze Beach, 13 miles away. Plan a day trip to Tintagel, said to be the birthplace of King Arthur, 20 miles away, or to Bodmin Moor, 15.5 miles away.
