This is my go-to hotel in NYC. Centrally located near MSG, Empire State Building/Herald Square and FIT. Easy to go east or west, north or south. My room had issues with the TV remote and the AC but engineering came and fixed them immediately. If you're staying for more than one night, request a street-facing room or else you'll be facing a building. Room was clean, everything is nearby and staff was helpful.

Close to tube Maddison square garden and time square. Room small but clean and functional with free safe. Breakfast was made fresh but took a while to come. The street was a bit run down but looks like it’s being improved with nice bar across the road.

I stayed in room 1007, and unfortunately my experience was disappointing from the moment I arrived. The hotel uses a digital key system that sends a link to access your room. My digital key did not work, so I had to go back downstairs to get a physical key. While I was there, I noticed other guests were having the same issue. My biggest concern was security. The elevators allow anyone to enter and select a floor without scanning a room key, which means non-guests can access the guest room floors. That made me feel very unsafe. Once I got into my room, I discovered the hot water at the bathroom sink was not working, and the faucet handle was loose. Maintenance responded quickly and fixed it, which I appreciated. Shortly afterward, I noticed the smoke detector was damaged because the front cover was completely missing. Maintenance returned and fixed that as well. The towels looked old and dingy with a yellowish tint, making them appear unclean. The bathroom was by far the worst part of my stay. The shower had a significant amount of mildew on the tile, and the showerhead had visible pink bacterial buildup. It was so unsanitary that I did not feel comfortable using it, so I ended up washing at the sink instead. I arrived late the night before and planned to sleep until close to checkout. Checkout is at 11:00 a.m., but around 10:00 a.m. a housekeeper began pounding on my door so aggressively that it sounded like a police raid. I yelled “Yes!” twice before she stopped. GROSS!!!’n
