"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. "I thought the rooms were amazing for the price, the AC was a god send and the pressure in the shower was great. I was extremely happy with the rooms and would gladly visit again. The course was amazing, really well kept and the staff were really polite and friendly. The only gripe that we had is that the time waiting to order and for the food to come wasn’t very good. We ate at Trethorne all three nights and it was the same every night. We even had to approach the bar to order our food on the second night. Larger tables were asked if their food was ok 2 or 3 times but we barely got a look from the waiter/waitresses."

"We had the most wonderful stay at Bude on the Beach while celebrating our anniversary. We were so pleased to be surprised with a room upgrade, which made our stay even more special. When we got to our room, we found a lovely handwritten anniversary note waiting for us – such a thoughtful gesture that really made us smile. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay. Every single person we spoke to was warm, friendly and genuinely helpful, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. It’s those little touches and the excellent service that really set this hotel apart. The location is unbeatable, with beautiful sea views and just a short walk to everything Bude has to offer. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a few days away. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay and we left already talking about when we would return. Thank you to everyone at Bude on the Beach for making our anniversary so memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!"
