"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. "Stayed before and this time didn’t disappoint. Lovely rooms staff friendly and helpful."

"We spent three nights here in what was a late booking for a break. We were very pleased that we did. The hotel is full of character and the staff all very friendly and accommodating. Our room was big and the bed very comfortable. The food was very good with a good selection continental breakfast available as well as several other choices including English breakfast. The evening menu provided us with good choices too. Parking was available. A small car park for about 12-15 cars opposite the hotel. There was also an "overflow" available which was left at the hotel up the hill. They also had a quiet room on the first floor for relaxation purposes should you felt you needed somewhere else to go other than your room. In conclusion we would have no hesitation at all about staying there again. Lovely."
