This is a lovely little gem of a hotel. Perfectly placed for the beautiful Miami Beach opposite, down a quiet little side road but close enough to stroll into Oistins. Very handy for the Friday Fish Fry (but the little stalls sell delicious fish dishes all week). Our room was large with a huge four poster, settee, table, chairs, coffee machine, kettle and a selection of tea and coffee. A big bathroom with lovely toiletries and an outside private patio with settee, table and sun loungers....

We went for 8 days with our 9month old daughter and could not have been more satisfied. The rooms/apartments are incredibly spacious, have a beautiful ocean views, a generous kitchen and are finished to a very high standard. The same cleaner comes every day and does an incredible job at keeping the apartment clean (including dishes and laundry). The property is right by the beach and the gazebo serves a nice selection of food (e.g. fish, salads, sandwiches) and offers room as well as pool side...

Great boutique hotel, with sea view. Perfect stop off before getting our flight back to London the following day. Our hostesses were very welcoming and helpful.

Whilst this hotel is about an hours drive from the airport, Bridgetown and the tourist nightlife, it more than makes up for it with it's quiet, peaceful location and the friendliness and quality of it's staff. If you want to visit different locations around the island you will need to hire a car (for an adventure, try the bus services - quite an experience - but try to avoid school in & out times unless you want to experience being a sardine). Staff are best & most friendly we have had pleasure to come across in 20 years visiting many Carabbean islands. Stayed all inclusive - food was varied every day and always a healthy choice! The basic garden view is still amazing - we had our own balcony, lounge and kitchen. All of the staff were super friendly, as were all locals in Barbados. The excursions and use of big hotel on beach made a difference too. We were there for a wedding which was amazing and the spa treatments we had was great - I really can't say a bad word about it!

Our room was really lovely, with a great balcony looking over the polls to the sea. The bed was really comfy, though as is often the case overloaded with pillows/cushions, and the shower was excellent. There was a well-equipped kitchenette with fridge, freezer, microwave and 2 hobs, plus plenty of crockery etc. There was a kettle and a filter coffee machine, but no tea bags or coffee. The host waited up for us as our flight got in really late, however i kept him informed. On entry to the apartment the first impression although sparsely furnished, the place was very clean with fresh bedding and towels. It would have been really lovely if the host had provided limited beverages, so we could make a hot drink on arrival and first thing in the morning. Outstanding hotel, full of history, perched above the ocean on the beautiful east coast. Everything is immaculate. Rooms are brilliant and food is excellent. Lovely coastal walk to charming Bathsheba.
