The hotel was nice but very large, staff were pleasant and helpful, and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and there was a good variety to choose from. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is an amazing hotel, mostly due to the staff. Probably the most helpful and kind staff you will ever see. Room was spacious, breakfast was fantastic, we did not get time to use the SPA, we did visit the sports pub, same there excellent staff, the fish and chips was very nice. Will be back for sure.

New, modern, clean rooms, great bathroom. Amazing breakfast. Small gym with free weights and a smith machine only - better than nothing. Small spa area where neither the heated pools nor sauna were hot enough. Steam bath was fine though.

Luxury historical hotel with delicious breakfast buffet in beautiful dining room. Deluxe room with double bed and bunk beds in newly built wing was ideal. Plenty of storage for all the ski clothes, warm, quiet, with private terrace with views. Fantastic location for Slaata ski centre and lifts.

Enjoyed many amenities such as, swimming pool in which you can actually swim, I believe it’s between 15-20 meters long. Hot tub was not very big and wasn’t hot but wasn’t an inconvenience as both the Steam room & Sauna were great. Breakfast was good but not excellent many of the food items were not hot.

The staff is very nice and really helpful! They did everything they could to make it a nice stay. And the hotel itself lies next to the ski area. The skipass and ski rent can be done also in the hotel. But it is a very old hotel and the rooms are not the best for the category this hotel shows. Very old bathrooms. The spa is definitely not a spa. Very small indoor whirlpool for maybe max 2-3 people. And the outdoor whirlpool (which could be a highlight) was not working and also too cold. The rooms are not well isolated and on the saturday the bass from the apres ski could be felt through every inch in the room. We recommend it for doing a ski trip with apres ski, but not as advertised as a spa hotel.

Wonderful hotel, many food options, great for our family. We enjoyed the pools, spa, bowling alley and breakfast buffet was the best we had in Norway! Great location for fishing and hiking in summer. We definitely want to visit again during ski season!

Special place. Rooms are a bit old and tired, but still such a great experience being in this hotel. Common areas like bar, restaurant, lobby etc are very unique. Brilliant location. Best hotel breakfast I've had for years.

The property is beautiful and by far the best in Geilo. Lot of parking options. In-house sports bar with a bowling alley. Right next to a railway station and markets. The biggest issue however is that there is no way to contact the housekeeping or reception from the room. Getting anything is difficult. But overall a fantastic place!
