Tranquil space but still close to main town

A lovely space, away from the chaos of the old town but still accessible. Very friendly staff and great value for money!

We loved our stay at the Tranquil lodge, exactly what we needed after a busy week in the city. Beautiful view of the rice fields and a nice central location to the beach or to old town. We also loved the pool, so nice to go for a swim after a big day of adventuring. The staff were very helpful whenever we had questions. Great value

My wife and I had a very comfortable stay at the lodge from Jan 26 to Feb 3. We love the tranquility of the place. My room was facing large area of paddy fields . Everyday we could see farmers transplanting rice seedlings, and travellers cycling on the paths between fields . We walked around the paddy fields everyday , watching birds , sunrise and sunset . Staff at the lodge were very nice and helpful, in particular the lady receptionists Vy, Thanb, and H-Vy, and the male manager Chuong. They showed us with patience on where to dine and how to get to ancient town. Apart from helping us settle down , they let us know the life of Vietnamese in general . It was amazing that they also helped out in preparing food for the guests. We always remember their smiles . The room was large and quiet , except you could hear the song of birds . We had good sleep every night . Fresh food with many varieties were served during breakfast. We liked the egg counter most !

Just like its name, a very tranquil place. The room looks out to a large rice field. Hotel staffs are very pleasant, complementary breakfast is very nice, especially the fruits and juices. The pool is nice and long enough to put in laps.

Tranquility on the rice paddies!

We stayed for three weeks third floor facing the rice patties, which is just wonderful every morning to go out on the balcony have some coffee and see the sites. Very quiet at night. Service was outstanding from the front desk to the manager to the one that tended the Rooms happy birthday HOA! We did try the food on several occasions and it was very good. Lovely 3 weeks!

Such a lovely property … secluded and actually tranquil. Its down a small ally so its away from the traffic. It’s a very safe area and you can look out on the rice fields. You can hear the country sounds of birds frogs geckos and even some chanting from a nearby Buddhist temple. You can even take some bicycles, that are provided, and ride them around the rice fields and say hello to the ox roaming the field. The staff is truly stellar. So sweet and kind. They really try very hard to make you as comfortable and happy as possible. The atmosphere is very homey and comfortable. My wife would recommend bringing your own shampoo and soap. The rooms are very nice. Clean and decorated nicely. Definitely a unique property with a personal touch that is hard to come by. It’s about a 20 minute walk to old town but it’s a straight shot down the main road and there is no shortage of transportation options.

Happy with our stay

The location is perfect, right next to nice rice fields and not too far from the ancient town. Quiet and peaceful as the hotel name implies. Room is spacious with a lot of natural light. However, we didn't have a good night sleep. This is true for all hotels we've been to. We sleep on a hard bed with thin pillows at home while all hotels are equipped with thick soft mattresses and pillows. We use AC with an air humidifier at home while no hotel has such a thing. There are five options for breakfast and we are requested to order it in advance. We actually prefer this breakfast style to buffet. Less options + order in advance => more satisfied + less food waste. Except for the sleeping experience, we are happy with our stay.
