This detached cottage is located in the heart of Mecklenburg Switzerland, offering unobstructed views of the countryside. It can accommodate up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed and 2 additional sleeping spots.
Excellent Wi-Fi with a 100-Mbit connection. The house has approximately 140 m² of living space and sits on a spacious lot with a huge garden. Whether you’d like to cook
relax in the garden, or unwind with a few sauna sessions, here you can quickly forget about the city and the hustle and bustle.
The accommodation
This 1950s settler’s house became part of our family in 2020.
Located in the heart of Mecklenburg Switzerland, it sits peacefully in the small village of Hohen Demzin on a large property with an unobstructed view of the countryside. We’ve transformed the house with our own hands and a lot of love into a cosy retreat. Here, you can instantly slow down and find peace. It’s the ideal place for relaxation, nature, bike rides, golf, water sports, and fine dining.

The house can accommodate up to 8 people—it features three bedrooms, each with a double bed, plus two additional sleeping areas. There is a large and a small bathroom in the main house and another small one in the sauna house, as well as a mini-spa with a sauna and relaxation room. The heart of the
house is the spacious living and dining area with an adjoining terrace leading to the garden. The lower bedroom features a cosy sitting area with a small library.

The garden has a natural design. At the back of the garden is a small pond where frogs, lizards, and
sometimes even grass snakes can be found. Every now and then, you can spot a crane or heron settling down by the water.
Right next to it, we’ve now built a fire pit for cosy evenings around the campfire.

Guest Access
The entire settler’s house, the sauna cabin, and the nearly 4,000-square-meter garden are exclusively at your disposal as guests. Although located within the village, this is a wonderful place to spend time on your own, explore the different parts of the garden, and relax in one of the seating areas.

Additional Important Information
The house and its garden are a wonderful retreat where you can unwind, meet up with friends, cook together, or have a barbecue. The new fire pit area invites you to sit together and watch the kites circling over the fields.
