The area is close to the famous lake and all the fun happening in the area. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and spa places.
The hotel are doing some renovations so it can be noisy. The pool area is a bit dated and the rooftop bar is quiet. The room is a bit dark with no light from the ceiling, we relied on the lamps. The bathroom did flood a bit but i guess its why they are doing some renovations.
Be wary about 'The old Quarter view' as our window was facing a building wall.
Staff were wonderful and helpful and breakfast was fair and reasonable with enough choices that didn't overwhelme.
I would return as the package we had was reasonably priced.

Upon hotel, we booked ha long bay 2 day 1 night tour + sapa 3 day 2 night tour with Mrs. Ruby The tours included scenic boat rides in Ha Long Bay and trekking through the terraced rice fields in Sapa, with comfortable accommodations arranged by Mrs. Ruby. Each day offered unique experiences, from cultural visits to stunning landscapes, making the trip both relaxing and adventurous. Also, Mrs. Ruby had free upgrade us to a Premium room city view was nice, large and had a good view. We have a good time on hotel rooftop too. We highly recommend booking through Mrs. Ruby for anyone visiting northern Vietnam.

Staff were above and beyond anything or anyone's expectations !! Food was ok, but overly expensive . Breakfast buffet is same each day.
