The host helped me to arrange same day delivery of my backpack to the next hostel. It made the cycling tour to imabari much easier. The bed is comfortable

Nice place close to Senkoji temple

Best hostel experience ever.
I really liked to stay at this heartwarming hostel. I like free tea and coffee and the kindness of my host. When I arrived I was exhausted and I was in a bad mood, but Onomichi and Fuji hostel cured me.

Mr and Mrs Yoshida were extremely helpful and informative! No better display of Japanese hospitality! Feel like being put up by a Japanese family! And the location is unrivalled as it is so near to all the tourist attractions!

One of the best hostel experiences in Japan
I wish I didn't cancel my reservation before because this hostel was amazingly accommodating! I booked it the day of but had left my passport at another hotel (where I canceled my reservation after inspecting the room). It was late and the hotel was far from the hostel, but the hostel owner drive me personally to pick my passport up! More than that, the sleeping area is great. The owner makes the bed and provides fresh towels everyday it seems. It's small, so a large suitcase would be troublesome up the stairs. There is also one shower and bathroom that everyone shares, but there are a ton of shampoo, conditioner, soap, shaving cream and face wash provided. Perfect for a short stay or if your biking around the nearby islands. Location is also the best. It's close to many delicious restaurants and across the street is a famous ramen shop. It's minutes away from the ropeway that lets you see the islands. It's about a 30 minute walk from the station (though I took the longer route that's alongside the sea). In reality, it's a much shorter walk from the station or you can take a bus! Honestly, the owner is great and very nice. His English is superb and he provides you a map and tips on what to do or eat! I would stay here again!

The place to stay in Onomichi on a budget
Great place to stay. Friendly and helpful guy that runs the place. If you are on a budget.......I'd recommend the Fuji Hostel

Coolest Hostel Staff In Japan!
Yoshida & staff were the kindest people in my educational trip into Japan. The facilities at Fuji Hostel were exceptional clean beyond my expectations. Directions to nearby sites in Onomichi, was great these guys deserve a raise for the hospitality given to someone like me, just passing through. The famous Ramen noodle restaurant right across the hostel was out of site! Being able to take in Onomichi from the comfort of this hostel's location is a big plus.

スタッフの方が気さくで、周辺施設の事など親切に教えてくれました。 近くに550円で入れる温泉もあるので、寝るだけのベッドで充分でした。 また次回も使いたいと思います。

あったか家族ハウス
立地：駅からゆっくり歩いて１５分、長い距離の商店街に屋根があるので雨でも問題なし。 施設：トイレ、シャワー、が一か所ずつ？　早めの行動が必要かも。私は近くの温泉（徒歩3～５分）に行った。もう少し広いリビングがあると他ゲストとの交流がしやすいと思った。 スタッフ：やさしいご主人と奥様、お子様。 サービス：温泉の割引券（100円）、タオルも貸してくれました、良心的。 総合：心温まる旅になりました、ありがとう！

素晴らしい
幾度も利用しています。オーナー家族がとても親切でとても気持ちよく過ごすことができます。アーケードのある商店街からすぐ近くで雨天でも傘無しに駅から行くことができます。

溫馨的家
房東一家四口也一起同住，女主人英文好好，把附近介紹得很詳細，無論景點/餐廳；房間裡雖然空間較細，必須提醒只有樓梯上落；細心的知道晚上比較凍，床上準備了好幾張棉被毛毯；浴室更是提供毛巾及洗髮沐浴；真的是有家的感覺了。

田舎の親戚の家に泊まる感じです。
とても親切でフレンドリーな若いご夫婦が運営されているゲストハウスです。キッチンなどはご夫婦が通常の生活をされている台所を使わせてもらう形なので、自由に使うには少々気が引けます。台所のテーブルが共有のリビングとなる形です。 建物自体は古いですが掃除などは行き届いています。 親戚の家に泊まりにきたと考えればいやすいかもしれません。

とても良かったです！
オーナーさんも奥様もとても親切で オススメして頂いた居酒屋のお料理もお酒も最高でした！ お布団もふかふかだったし、行こうと思っていた近所の温泉の割引券も頂いてお得に入浴も出来ました。 尾道は初でしたが、ロケーションもご飯も温泉も人も良くてまた行きたいと思います。

とっても親切だよ！
とても暖かい雰囲気で迎えてくださいました。自分の旅の内容がスムーズに行くように、行き方や電車の時間などとても親切に教えて頂きました。階段は結構狭いです。部屋にもミニ冷蔵庫がありました。

A traditional Japanese style house converted into a guest house. The owners are also living in the house. It was really clean, although the sound prove was not so good, considering it was an old house, can't expect too much. Oppotite is the famous Chinese noodle shop, good location in that way.

とても居心地の良い静かなホステル
駅から距離はありますが飲食店、それと千光寺へと続くロープウェイの乗り口に近いので便利です。ホストご夫妻は大変親切で居心地が良かったためもう１泊お世話になりました。

アットホームで「おもてなし」を実感できる宿
必要なものはすべてそろったゲストハウスです。シャワーのみでお風呂は使えないようですが、近くの別のホテル併設の温泉があるのでそちらを利用していました。客室の快適度を4と評価しましたが、ゲストハウスとしてはかなりいいと思います。ぜひまた利用したいです。

温かい家庭のようなホステルです
下調べ無しのノープランで尾道に行きましたが、滞在中はオーナーご夫妻が色々と情報をくださり、尾道としまなみ海道を最大限楽しめました。ホステルからすぐの所に、徒歩で千光寺まで登れる道の入り口があるので、早起きして朝日を見に行くのがオススメです。 清潔なタオルを無料で使えます。一般家庭のようなダイニングスペースでは、他の方とゲストハウスならではの交流ができます。外国人が多いようです。 唯一気になったのは、(古い民家を使った宿だから仕方ないかもしれませんが…)時間帯によって独特な臭い(下水のような？)が部屋まて届く時がありました。私は2日目には慣れましたが、臭いに敏感な方が到着後にガッカリしないよう、コメントさせて頂きます。 尾道はまた来たいと思える所だったので、その際はまた利用させて頂きたいです。

トータルで考えたら満点。
古民家を改装して、ご夫婦で経営されている所でした。 初めて会ったのにとてつもなく人懐こくて明るい元気な奥さんはすごく感じのよい方でした。その後お会いしたご主人も、宿泊されてる方の名前をちゃんと覚えていて、とても気さくに話してくれるこちらもまたとても感じのよい方でした。 ベッドにカーテンのないタイプのドミトリーは初めてだったのですが、そんなことはどうでもよくなるくらいに感じのよいお二人と可愛いお子さんにとても癒されました。 古民家なので、廊下はちょっと寒いですが部屋の中は適度に暖房がきいています。 お部屋も寝具類もとても清潔です。 夕飯を食べるところを教えてもらったり（しかもちゃんと電話で店が開店してるか確認済み）予定を聞いてくれてアドレスいただいたり、あのよい距離感を保てるのが本当にすごいです。 本当にお世話になりました。 とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。ありがとうございました。
