Find hotels in Hin Khon from £11

The best area to stay in Hin Khon is near the Chang International Circuit and Buriram United FC Stadium, which forms the main hub for visitors.

This area is located just north of Buriram city centre, offering modern hotels and amenities designed for convenience. It's easily accessible by road and provides direct access to the sporting venues. You'll find a selection of restaurants, cafes, and shops suiting international visitors.

Couples looking for a comfortable and convenient base for attending events will find this area ideal. The proximity to the circuit means less travel time and more relaxation, with many hotels offering good facilities like high-end fitness equipment and pleasant dining options.

For solo travellers, staying near the circuit provides a straightforward and well-serviced experience. It's easy to navigate, and there are often shuttle services or readily available transport options to and from events.

The best time to go to Hin Khon is during the dry season, from November to February, when the weather is cooler and more comfortable for exploring.

During these months, you can expect pleasant temperatures, typically ranging from 20°C to 30°C, with lower humidity. This makes it ideal for outdoor activities like visiting Phanom Rung Historical Park or exploring the local markets without the intense heat or the interruption of heavy rain.

The shoulder seasons, March to May and October, can also be good options. While temperatures start to rise in March and April, it's still generally manageable before the peak heat of May. October marks the end of the rainy season, so you might catch some lingering showers, but the landscape is lush and green, offering a different kind of beauty.

We generally advise against visiting during the peak rainy season, from June to September.
