Our home's heart, a recently updated kitchen, features quartz countertops, modern cabinets, and appliances no more than three years old. The inviting space is perfected with stylish pendants and swivel upholstered stools, creating an ambiance that's both elegant and welcoming. Fresh paint graces the living, dining, and kitchen areas, complementing the new king-sized bed in the master bedroom, now refreshed with wood flooring and a serene color palette.

This spacious, four-bedroom, three-bathroom residence boasts a heated pool* and a luxurious hot tub, complete with 37 jets and LED lighting, promising an idyllic escape. The one-level layout ensures easy accessibility and includes two master suites, two guest rooms, and a shared bath, all featuring contemporary wood floors. Updated vanities and lighting enhance the hall and queen suite bathrooms, adding a touch of sophistication.

The expansive living room, equipped with a 46-inch widescreen HDTV, merges seamlessly with the dining area and newly fitted kitchen. Our commitment to excellence is evident in the continuous deep cleaning, fresh paint, and installation of classy shutters and custom Roman shades that adorn our windows.

Outside, the private backyard offers an expansive deck surrounding the pool and hot tub, an elevated flagstone patio ideal for grilling (featuring a new Weber propane grill), and a delightful sitting area adorned with rattan furniture and vibrant red cushions – a perfect spot to relax under the new umbrella on warm days.

Freshly painted in a soothing blue with crisp white shutters and complemented by new landscaping, the exterior of our home invites you to explore the local offerings. Great location, very functional home!

We loved our stay at the Mallard house! Was only a 5 min walk to the beach, 10 min walk to shopping and restaurants with lots of great bike paths. The pool was clean and well maintained and got plenty of sun. Would definitely stay again or recommend to others!

The property is in a quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the beach, fully stocked with beach and pool supplies, kitchen and grilling needs and great accommodations for our family of 9…from ages 87-2! So pretty!

The place was beautiful! Loved the backyard oasis. There was a problem with the pool light that didn’t get fixed until later in the week, but the host was nice enough to let us stay an extra night for free because of it!

Great stay at Hiton Head

Lovely back yard with multiple seating areas, pool, and hot tub, and umbrellas for shade. The kitchen is nicely equipped (we like to cook) with pans for stovetop and oven baking. Plenty of room in bedrooms for our group. Nearby grocery stores and restaurants are within walking distance.

Great backyard and location!

We had a great stay in Hilton Head. The house was very clean when we arrived, and the backyard and location can’t be beat. Just a short walk to the beach and into town for dinner and drinks! Laura was a pleasure to talk to and helped to make sure everything went smoothly for our trip. Would definitely return!

Fantastic location, charming home w/ great outdoor space

We’ve been coming to HHI for years and North Forest Beach is, by far, our favorite location. 3 Mallard is charming and in a perfect location, just off beach and a quick walk to shops and restaurants. Laura was a thoughtful, fantastic, communicative host. For those who like to cook, kitchen is very well-appointed. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and Happy Beach Home

Great family home, easy walk to the beach, very comfortable and perfect for a large family. Private pool and hot tub backyard was wonderful. General cleanliness such as bedding linens towels ect. was great. Overall the property needs a deep clean inside and out. Back yard landscape and yard could use some TLC. Overall I would recommend this property.

Private backyard

Our family, 3 couples and children 6 yr and 1 year old, all enjoyed the privacy of the backyard to ourselves. Relaxed by the pool with plenty of sitting space for meals outside under umbrella tables. We have rented vacation homes frequently and found this one to have the most things we use provided. This was our first visit to HHI and will be back!

Great property for family celebrations

We enjoyed a wonderful 50th. wedding celebration with three families. Laurah answered all our questions before the trip, even arranging for an additional bed for our 4 year old grandaughter and gifting us wine and balloon. Property as described. The pool was great for the hot summer afternoons. Super location for HH sights, shopping and activies.

Family Vacay

Laura was great with communication before we even arrived at the property. She helped us adjust our dates and arrival time to fit our needs with having a toddler. Which - the option of a crib and pack n play was a life saver for us. We had 6 adults - each with enough space of their own. Great location for the beach and Coligny. We met the property manager upon arrival and she was great as well! Would definitely recommend this home for a family!

The property was being cleaned (outside) from the storm. Clean up crew were diligent and thorough. House was clean and comfortable. Within walking distance of restaurants and stores. We were very satisfied.

The place had a great access to the beach & the pool was a big bonus. Needed few things updated inside the house & the pictures in the website was deceiving as far as the garden was concerned. But putting all these aside we had a great time. The owners were wonderful & replied to any questions we had.

Excellent find on HHI

Everything listed in the description is true. We stayed here with my parents, brother, and our family of 4 with 2 dogs and we never felt like we were on top of each other! The pool and hot tub are an added touch to a max of a 5 minute walk to the beach! I felt comfortable walking back with my toddler while everyone else stayed at the beach because it was so close!!
