Our hostess, the decor, the location were absolutely perfect for a weekend to relax. Everything we needed was provided for and made our stay easy and simple. Every window had a view that made you feel as if you were tucked away in the woods but it was only a 2 minute drive into town. Comfy bed and loved the record player and vinyl record collection. Only a 3 minute drive to downtown Highlands which was the reason we booked it. Loved our stay at this cute little property! Just a couple minutes to town and to a few short, easy trails. Just a heads up, this house is RIGHT on a pretty busy road so it can be a little loud and wouldn’t be great with quick moving toddlers, and the parking is a small space. This was a perfect spot for a little get away for the weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and all of the outside lounging areas. There were only two of us, so as far as the beds go I can only comment on the mater bed. Slept great and was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed for grilling out on the gas grill. What a great place in a convenient location. Would highly recommend! I must say this is one of the neatest places we have rented. It reminded me a Swiss Chalet but the local artist paintings also gave it southern charm. I loved how all of the art on the walls was for sale. Such a cool idea! The space was perfect for our small family. The master bed was super comfortable, nice linens, and super stylish. Everything was VERY clean 10/10 and lots of extra amenities like body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, candles!, bar accessories, vinyl record player with lots of albums, etc. etc. The house is off the main road leading into Highlands so we didn't walk to town because we had a stroller, but was only a short drive.
