From the high end mattresses to the linens, a comfort plus stay. An easy 10 minutes to downtown Highlands. My girlfriends and I celebrated turning 40 this year. Our third time to Highlands and our favorite stay so far. I kept forgetting I was at a rental, because it was over the top comfortable, clean and instantly felt like home. We loved the beautiful antiques, plush bedding, oriental rugs and little accents that made it feel quintessentially Highlands. The outdoor fireplace is easy to use and fun to relax by, the kitchen is well stocked and easy to use as well. Beds are so comfortable and the house is very quiet. It is immaculately maintained and very private despite being in a neighborhood. I believe this is a new rental so it was missing a couple of trash cans in the bathrooms and there were no trash bags for putting your garbage into. The location is perfect right between Highlands and Cashiers. The accommodations could not have been more perfect. Extremely comfortable beds, everything you need for a getaway so that you can enjoy the area and cook a family meal at home. We were so happy there was a pack-n-play (bring your own sheets) for our 19 month old. We also brought a small baby gate for the stairs. The back porch was magical as we relaxed from the day.
