From swimming in the lake to game nights to reading on the back porch, it was a welcome break from real life. Cabin seemed tucked off the beaten side path, but was not far from so many great hikes, Cashiers and Highlands! The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: On a positive note the cabin has plenty of room for a large family, and the reality company was very nice and helpful. However, the cabin was dirty and smelled. We opened the door and the smell of moth balls was so strong it was hard to breathe. The cabin also has a moldy smell ( probably the reason for the moth balls) the showers had dead bugs and spiders, rat feces was on the pillow shams, headboard, and floor of one of the back bedrooms. The furniture was old and dirty, we put a sheet over the sofa so we could set on it. I cleaned the vinyl chairs in the dinning area and the paper towels I clean them with was black with dirt. I’m just glad we only rented for a weekend and not a week. Very disappointed !! ##### Tammy S.
