Cozy & Modern home One of the most adorable cottages in downtown Highlands., This property has been completely renovated this from the driveway to the roof and everything in between. This 2 bedroom(Queen beds), 2 bath home features an open concept entertainment area with a brand new custom kitchen situated between a new sun-room on the front and a vaulted living room on the back. A quartz bar wraps around the kitchen making it an ideal place to gather and entertain. The great room features a gas fireplace and french doors that open onto the spacious covered deck. The deck also boasts space for outdoor living and dining. A special surprise: deck views up to Sunset Rock. You will also find an en-suite master bedroom with access to the back deck and a master bath that features a large soaking tub. This home is conveniently located close to everything that makes downtown Highlands so desirable - Main Street shopping and dining, The Hudson Library, The Highlands Nature Center, Sunset Rock, plus so much more. \*This is an animal friendly property. Pets must be approved and a pet fee is required.\* \[All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. \] CANCELLATION POLICY: Our cancellation policy (effective for bookings confirmed after April 1, 2024) is outlined below: For reservations that are 21 days or less, A reservation cancelled ( by email receipt ) between 0 - 45 days prior to arrival is not eligible for a refund. My parents, dog, and myself had a wonderful 4 night stay here in March. Downtown Highlands is walkable or a minute drive in your car. The Kitchen has great appliances and is well-equipped for "basic" cooking but if you need specialty tool/implements, bring them with you. Especially if you need a sharp knife for prep work. The home is well equipped, comfortable and cozy and especially enjoyed the quiet back porch. So nice to walk to Main Street Highlands for shopping (10 min walk) or dinner. We had take out from Lakeside Restaurant (5 min walk- highly recommend!!) Also, Just a quick drive to our favorite hiking trails and waterfalls.
