Had trouble finding it and accessing the gate, due to 4 emails being received with information and missed the info I needed, although the access codes had been provided. Once I arrived it was all good with dedicated parking and a lovely clean flat with everything I needed set in an Victorian estate.

Well equipped in peaceful rural setting. Very handy for Broughton shopping park. Good bus service into Chester and surrounding areas. Will certainly return there.

Brilliant location, brilliant little cottage perfect for a couple

This house felt like a real home, was so well equipped, beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had everything we needed provided for us, and there was even a bottle of milk in the fridge waiting for us. The beds are really comfortable, as are the sofas, and the bathroom and kitchen are fab! We’re definitely coming back!

Trish and Dave were extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks Gary

hot tub with spotless and clean and well maintained

Outstanding property with easy access and great communication beforehand. The place is a joy to stay at set in a beautiful area, well located to amenities, very quiet, no noise or hassle from owners, well equipped internally, good internet, easy parking, comfy bed, great kitchen and bathroom and great value for money. The place is beautiful and a real real gem. I definitely will be back like Arnie once said….

The hot tub was excellent and we used it earlier each day. Although we took most things with us there was a general store just a few yards away. There were two small issues which I brought to the attention of the host and they were dealt with immediately.

Perfect place for a city getaway. Location is great for all of the shops, restaurants etc. Shame there is no parking on site but the location makes up for it.

Great property to stay at, really clean and tidy. Owner is really friendly and helpful. Will hopefully stay there again in the future.

Excellent two night break at this lovely cottage. Spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. Location was perfect. Very good communication with instructions of check in etc. Thank you for a lovely stay

Clean property in a nice central location for the things we wanted to do. Has everything you would need to use in the kitchen. We would happily stay there again.

Lovely location situated within walking distance of local amenities. Nice comfortable and homely accomodation with a welcoming atmosphere

Nice place, very remote.

Well equipped kitchen, generally good lounge. Very good location, especially with a parking space for a car. All of Chester city centre is easy distance to walk.

There are places you can stay and wonder if they are worth the cost. Rest assured this isn't one of them. Isolated, quiet and rural with a spectacular location in the North Wales countryside. Lack of light pollution makes the night sky amazing in the hot tub. The host is wonderful and the place is top drawer. If you want city service this isn't the place for you, if you want quiet rural bliss it is. Tiddles the cat frequently visits too, so if you like cats she is fab (thanks for the mouse...

Bramble Lodge is a hidden gem. It offers clean comfortable seclusion, relaxing hot tub & the seasonal bonus of a substantial private pool. I have stayed a couple of times, so far, & will definitely be back.

Lovely house, not too far from Chester

We were very pleased with the Old Barn and it is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. It was well equipped and included things that we usually have to bring with us when staying away, such as washing up liquid, cloths, tea towels, soap, salt and pepper. The hosts provided a pint of milk on arrival, with tea, coffee and sugar and some homemade bara breth which was lovely. They met us when we arrived and took us through everything from the recycling to using the FreetSat TV. It was...
