"We spent 4 nights at the cottage last weekend and absolutely loved it. The minimalist atmosphere was perfect for our relaxing retreat. We were able to visit many sites around Asheville enjoying the scenic drives from the cabin and come back to the peace and quiet of the horse pasture. Stepping out onto the back deck with the mountains in the distance, the horses below us and the sounds of turkeys gobbling in the distance was nothing short of rejuvenating. The landscaping of the grounds is beautiful and only made us wish we were visiting in late May to early June to see all of the blooms.We would definitely recommend this cottage for a couple looking for a relaxing weekend. The only item of concern is the spiral staircase which may be difficult for older visitors to climb up and down while carrying a suitcase."

"The property was accommodating to our group size and had a very beautiful view! Communication prior to our visit could have been key but instead there was some stress on our trip due to a broken oven that was not communicated prior to arrival. The host did refund us 1 night stay to make it right but all could have been avoided if there was just more communication so meals could have been rearranged since we planned on cooking our entire stay."

"Pictures don’t do The Loverly justice! We had an amazing stay, all the little details were so wonderful. Fireplace in bedroom was very nice on the cold mornings! Hot tub was great, very private, even enjoyed the morning we left. Brea is a very gracious host and very attentive! We were lucky to be there the day the road to Chimney Rock opened back up and got to patronize all those folks hard hit by Helene so that was an added bonus! We will definitely be back! "

"Took my wife and a group of friends up here for a weekend and enjoyed our stay. Plenty of fun activities to do with pool table, hot tub, ping pong, etc. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone with a large family as there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. "

"Property management was very responsive and helpful. Master bath could use more lighting and the locks on the kitchen patio door and master door leading to patio could use dead bolts. Fireplace was a big hit. Kitchen knives could be sharpened but give it an overall A. "
