About this property

Cabin by Langley Dam with Lake Views

  • Experience a charming coastal-inspired cabin that resembles an upturned fishing boat, reminiscent of traditional clinker boats used by Northumberland’s coastal communities. Nestled near the banks of Langley Dam, this cozy retreat offers stunning, unobstructed views of the fishing lake and Whitfield Moor. The private decking area at the front leads down to a gravelled side space with seating and a firepit/BBQ, making it perfect for relaxing evenings while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Inside, the cabin comfortably accommodates up to four guests with a well-equipped kitchenette featuring a sink, kettle, toaster, fridge with small ice box, double ceramic hob, and electric oven with grill. The space is heated by an electric heater, and entertainment is provided by a 28” smart TV with DVD player and Wi-Fi. The en-suite shower room includes a flushing toilet, shower, sink, and shaver socket, offering convenience and privacy for all guests.

To enhance your stay, we provide bird spotting and stargazing guides, along with OS explorer maps to help you explore the wildlife, stars, and walking trails in the area. The site also includes a nautical-themed children’s play area with a cargo net, slide, balance beams, small boat, and raised boat platform, ideal for imaginative play. Please note pets are not permitted in this cabin; for pet-friendly options, consider Wheatley's or Blackcleugh. Enjoy a memorable and scenic escape surrounded by nature and coastal charm.
