Chalets in Heraklion

"Clean room, ugly view of people’s laundry drying on balconies from our window. Front desk gave me directions to a post office that had moved, I’m carrying a heavy bag of items to ship. From there I asked people and got lost, never found the post office and spent 2.5 hours walking in the red sandstorm which made me sick for the next two days. Had dinner two nights in your restaurant, food was great but service terrible. Completely ignored the first 15 minutes, people came in after us but waited on promptly and served food well before us. No one ever checked on us, did we need anything? Waited after finishing for someone to clear dishes and bring our check. Finally gave up and left, I stopped at the front desk and told them NO TIP for the terrible service we had."

"Excellent view. Superb, competent and friendly staff, excellent bed, room, and extensive complimentary breakfast. Location a bit rough 15min from city center, but next to local shopping mall."

If I had one suggestion, it would be to reduce the amount of desserts and sweets offered and replace with more hot food options such as waffles/pancakes, omelets to order etc. however, this was low season so I guess there is a concern about wastage "
