"I had never stayed at a hotel before and after a rather rough flight and receiving my luggage broken, I was not in a good mood. Thanks to the staff and other guests my mood changed. If you are into turn down service, mints on your pillow and towels twisted into animal shapes, this is not your place to stay. But if you like a laid back atmosphere with people who treat you like family this is it. I shared a room with 5 college age kids, (I'm 67) was invited to dine with a large group of tourists from Italy, and made friends."

"If you are flying out of terminal four this is the ideal hotel. You are right in the terminal. This means you can take advantage of included breakfast which starts at 5am. Hotel is clean. Staff are courteous and efficient."

"The Renaissance staff were so kind to us on both our stays, working to get us a room a bit earlier than anticipated. The food at the hotel is wonderful, although a bit pricier than what many Americans expect. The fish and chips were great, with the fish being a HUGE portion. The breakfast buffet is great with an amazing assortment of food choices. The room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. Our only difficulty with the room was getting into and out of the bath. The tub is a true soaker tub so is very deep with high sides. Hard for older, short folks! 😂"

"Great location by the airport for a long layover. Can take the 432 bus to and from the airport for 2 British pounds, highly advise this over Uber or Taxies. Nice restaurant on sight, clean rooms, exactly what you would expect from a Marriot property."
