My husband and I had originally planned to visit Orchid Island two days. But due to the typhoon forecast, we don’t want to risk getting stuck and unable to return to Denver. So, we decided to stay in KenTing on a whim! We saw good reviews and decided to try it out. While the amenities aren't hotel-like, but the location so great. No need to drive; just walk past the lawn to the beautiful beach, and behind that is main street. The staff was very friendly, I thought she’s owner greeting us with friendly welcome. She said just an employee, the owner is so kind, she helps owner run the business! That kind of service was heartwarming. The breakfast was okay, but free drinks and ice cream provided to cool down in the KenTing sun were a nice touch! She also recommended a restaurant in LongPan, sashimi is incredibly fresh, and tuna fried rice so good.
