"Our stay, although just one night, was a pleasant one. The room was clean & the bed was comfy. A/C, TV, micro, hair dryer, all worked as they should. Saw three different staff members during our stay, all as pleasant/helpful as they could be. All with a minimal sidewalk stroll to all the downtown shops. The breakfast was the perfect start to our day with self-made waffles, coffee, and juice being our preference. There were also bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, and things of that nature. We would definitely stay again..."

"This stay has a very unique atmosphere. The hotel is decorated like a fairy tale village and nestled right on the side of the river. The number one reason we chose to stay here was the location being walkable to anything in town. Most the hotels in the area are a lot further of a walk to the downtown. This hotel was pleasant to stay at. It might be seen as a little dated, but even so it has a lot of charm that more than makes up for that. We really enjoyed being able to walk right down to the river and enjoy the cool refreshing water. Definitely worth staying here if you’re planning on visiting Helen!"
