Our winter stay was really cozy and beautiful. The view was incredible and the hot tub was clean and the kids loved it. I think if it snowed we might have had a hard time getting up the steep jeep trail to the house but there were only flurries to contend with on our trip so we had no trouble. We had fun exploring Berkeley Springs, Cacapon state park, and Frederick Maryland. In any case we had a great time and would definitely come back some day.
Wonderful hilltop private quiet Amazing View STARS galore!!!! Wonderful little house pictures don't do it justice. Multi tiered decks and screen room. Our dog absolutely loved exploring the woods. Highly recommend if your looking for peaceful days and/or nights. Close to several Civil War Battle sights and of course Berkeley Springs (check out George Washingtons bathtub) State park. Harpers Ferry quite interesting too.
Very nice accommodation for one couple. It’s listed for 4 people and it would be fine for a small family but if another couple were to come I wouldn’t think the 2nd couple would be very happy. The master bedroom is very lovely but the other is small and dark and the 2nd bathroom is not up to par-in my opinion. The dining table is very small for 4 adults. The living room is very nice as is the hot tub. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. The fire pit is very nice and the view is nice too but probably best enjoyed in the fall with the leaves changing. There were no outside chairs to sit while enjoying the outside except for the table and chairs in the screened in area of the porch. My husband and I did enjoyed the time there with hiking and relaxing using the hot tub and enjoying an evening fire.
My husband and I saved up 12 years for our first ever vacation and we were so happy it was here! The views were stunning, the cabin was fantastic (especially the upper deck), and the privacy was just the right balance of secluded and populated in case of emergency. The cabin was easy to find and close enough to tourist areas and towns. But the cabin itself offered plenty to keep busy (nature, board games, an impressive DVD collection, working internet).
We love this property. The views are amazing and seeing the sun rise each morning from all the windows in the master bedroom is the best. This is our second time staying and we’ll certainly go again. There are plenty of dishes to cook, movies to watch, books to read, and games to play. Hardly a problem, but the hot tub is finicky and the jets barely work. Don’t try to set the heat higher than 102, or it might shut down completely.
This property was awesome. The house was way cuter and more spacious in person than it appeared in the photos. The property itself was gorgeous, very big and open outdoor space that felt very private. Absolutely stunning views, especially the sunrise. Woke up at sunrise each morning and the view from the larger bedroom was unreal, highly recommend spending time on the balconies and at night there were so many stars to see!! Hottub was perfect, same views from there. The shed was fully stocked with firewood and the indoor wood stove was super nice, got very very warm. Kitchen had everything we needed, very large fridge, and beds were comfortable. Water gave a bit of a sulfur smell after showers. There is a nice washer/dryer and there was detergent. No soap in the showers however so bring some of your own.
As for getting there - once you are about 5-10 minutes away follow the written directions!!!!! GPS was incorrect it made us miss our turns.
Overall awesome!! Will return.
Cute private cottage in a secluded setting for privacy, close to hiking trails, with a hot tub to soak out your sore muscles at the end of the day. Will definitely be going back for a third time!
This was our 2nd stay at this location and more likely will be back

Great little house in the mountains!
This is a great little house. It has a wood stove that works great and a hot tub with a great view of the sunrise. The kitchen is also fully stocked. What a great weekend!!
We stayed in the winter. The house is adorable. The views are incredible. It felt secluded. Hot tub was perfect. The master bedroom is the nicest room I’ve ever slept in. Great place. No complaints. In Winter, make sure you have 4 wheel drive.
The house was perfect. We had a great time. Hottub worked perfectly. Tons of wood to make a fire. Only challenge was not being sure what to do with garbage at the end. Would definitely go back.
The property looked like the listing and was quiet and secluded which is what we wanted. The view is spectacular! The messages I recieved for the check out process did differ slightly from the process listed inside the property, which made it a little confusing. But, that was it!
Secluded and quiet. Nice hiking trails. Very disappointed that hot tub was broken since that was #1 on our list but stuff happens and they credited us one night and that was fair. We would stay again.
This was a great property for a get-away. My spouse and I needed a few days away from the rat race, that was fairly close to our home. I loved that this cottage was high on the hill, as the views were just lovely.
We really enjoyed having the wood stove to make the house toasty and warm. We sat by the fire and read and chatted.
The master bedroom was really nice and the quilts were such a nice touch.
We loved the hot tub in the evenings as it was a great way to wind down.
Overall, this was nice for the two of us. I appreciated the quiet.

Less than perfect
Two night stay. First night everyone was awakened at 11:30 PM after a long day with clanging of water filter that went off for 2 hours. Ruined the first night.
Hottub was off and cold.
Both were fixed the day after we arrived.
Also we could not find extra firewood until the day we left hidded in a small shed out back.
This was a great stay. We loved hanging on the screen porch and stargazing from the hot tub in total seclusion. The short trip to Berkeley Springs was a highlight, and the property managers were very responsive. We would definitely return. Thanks!
We loved our stay at Sleepy Hollow. The cabin was delightful, fully stocked and clean. The location provided the perfect isolation from the rest of the world even if only for a few days. From the small community lake - huge turtle sunbathing on the waters surface, to a short walk in the woods where a fawn ducked behind a twig with a couple of leaves trying to hide from us - it was just an amazing restful stay. If this property ever becomes available for sale I am sure there is a long list of people waiting to buy - include us! Staffing was incredible with our questions regarding the use of the hot tub, there were some minor issues but staffing came out right away to solve the problems, Victor in maintenance was friendly and helpful - BSCR refunded a small amount of our fees for the trouble and it was so not necessary - but we appreciate each and every one we spoke with and started planning our next trip before we even left the cabin! We highly recommend BSCR!
The privacy of the setting was so wonderfully peaceful, and the cabin was incredibly clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back to enjoy this little gem!!
