Large private master bedroom looking over the water, with Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. Large back deck overlooking the water with gas grill. A dock for crabbing or mooring your boat, screened front porch, fire pit, paddle boards and other water sport options. LIMITED FIREWOOD AVAILABLE, RECOMMEND BRINGING SOME ALONG! Wireless internet so you can stay in touch with the rest of the world; if you want to. Very quiet property, enjoying drinking your coffee on the deck in the morning, or a glass of wine as the sunsets over Spring Cove. Conveniently located to some of the areas best waterfront dining, marinas, and some of the best fishing spots in the Chesapeake bay. If you want a quiet place on the water in the country to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is your spot. Best described as laid back and relaxing! Signs of Spring are popping up everywhere, and what better time than now to come to the Northern Neck. With the addition of a new amusement park, movie theatre, several breweries and vineyards minutes from each other, our area is one of the most sought after areas in Virginia. While boating, fishing, and other water sports have always been popular in the area, we also have nature reserves, state parks, and bike trails. Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend in this beautiful, peaceful location. The house was clean and comfortable and the hosts are considerate and accommodating. We highly recommend this location for quality family time and outdoor recreation!

Northern neck tranquility

Loved this property… one of our favorite rentals yet. Very spacious house with a super functional kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved the kayaks and SUPs! Quiet location with a few small towns nearby.

This place is beautiful, & it’s a perfect getaway from the city. It was exactly as advertised on VRBO. The space was clean & stocked with many essentials. We also appreciated the small touches, such as the baby gate, as we traveled with a toddler. We definitely plan on visiting again!

Amazing place!

We stayed for a week and had an amazing time! We caught crabs off the back deck. We loved going to Vir-Mar beach and all the local fishing spots. We also tried out the sunset cruise and had a fantastic time! Definitely an amazing vacation and can't wait to go again in the future! Any questions we had were answered quickly, Ryan was a fantastic host!

Family getaway

This was our family vacation for the summer, the cabin had everything we needed. The kids had a blast on the paddle boards and kayaks, the owner even gave us bait for the crab traps (the kids thought this was really neat). Was not to far to drive to do lots fun things Virgina had to offer.

Great cabin on the water!

We loved our stay at Ryan’s cabin. We especially enjoyed using the SUPs and kayaks he provided. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to prepare meals, and there are plenty of towels. Ryan was wonderful to communicate with - very responsive, kind, and professional. Thanks for a fun and memorable stay!

Lovely Cabin on the Cove

The cabin was exactly as described - beautiful, serene, and clean. We had a good time. Weather cold have been better, but we were still able to catch a couple dozen crabs early in the week. Place is a bit remote, it takes awhile to get to other places, but that is what we like. Would recommend this rental to those who love privacy and the serenity of being on the water.

Relaxing stay

This property was amazing and very accommodating! We had five kids and two adults and were very comfortable. The kids loved the kayaks and crabbing and fishing in the day and roasting s’mores at night. It was a perfect getaway from the crazy of life!

Labor Day holiday Retreat

Cabin on the Cove is a lovely home in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed all that the home had to offer! It is most spacious and comfortable. The cove was wonderful for kayaking and my granddaughter taught herself to stand up and paddle board. We played croquet on the lawn several times. Many thanks for a great holiday!

Great vacation house

Thanksgiving Gathering

We loved the large kitchen where we gathered to cook with plenty of moving room. The great room was comfortable with a beautiful view of the back yard, dock and waterfront. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit where we roasted marshmallows and made s’mores. We enjoyed the peaceful getaway.

The property was beautiful being on the water. Plenty of space for us. It was fun to crab and the owner was very responsive. They had lots of cooking utensils and towels which is great for a larger family. Overall it was perfect and we hope to be back.

Dream Cabin in a peaceful location

Our family loved this property. The inside space is ample and gorgeous. It is well equipped inside and outside. Lots of areas to rest and plenty of equipment for water activities. The second floor was a little warm but the owners are working on it. Timely communication with the host and check in instructions and location were pretty straight forward. Highly recommended!

A lovely house!

This place was wonderful! It was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels were great. We really enjoyed the dock and the crab pots. We had a nice fire in the fire pit with wood that was left for us. The owner was very responsive to our questions. Would definitely recommend and go back for a return visit. Thank you!

A Great Disconnect from the Day to Day

We had an excellent time at the Cove. My kids, 4 & 6, and my parents, greatly enjoyed the amenities and the cabin. We caught crab, fished (my 4 year old caught his first), and kayaked most every day. Vir Mar beach is close and perfect to sit and relax. We visited local towns, ate great food, and just relaxed. Could not have asked for much more. We hope to visit again very soon!
