"This cabin was so serene and peaceful! My mom and I visited over a long weekend, and the cabin was very close to the warm springs and other attractions in the area. Everything was very comfortable and well-equipped. Our only slight issue was the AC unit was set very low, and it was hard to adjust. In the grand scheme of things, it was a very minor issue and we would 100% visit again. The deck looks out over the woods and you can hear the birds and frogs — if you're looking for a quiet retreat, this is a great place."

"There are very few places like this that we have stayed that we enjoyed so much. It is definitely an old, historic home, so it is going to have uneven floors and high-risers on the stairs. But if you are the kind of person that loves old homes, none of that will bother you. It also has a screened sleeping porch as well as an open porch that looks down over the beautiful yard down to the creek. And speaking of the creek, there is a swimming hole that is easily accessible and was a lot of fun. One note: wear some sort of protective beach shoes on your feet if you go in as the bottom has rocks and leaves. But the temperature was lovely and the water clear and we enjoyed floating around for a bit. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need for the groceries that you might bring. The small living room was very cozy for reading or TV watching. There is nothing I would have changed about this wonderful little home! It was welcoming, quaint, cozy and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back to the area and will stay in the Tannery without a doubt. Top marks!"

"I read the reviews and saw the management is relatively new. Being formerly employed in the hotel industry, I know how difficult it is to rehabilitate a property and the reputation. These guys are doing a fantastic job and well on their way to a successful and profitable location. Any time I had a question or request, it was met with polite and eager assistance. They are very accommodating."
