"Had a great stay very quiet. Very nice place and good supply of dishes and cookware. Clean cabin. Had a good time fishing. The water was as low as I have seen in 40 years of coming up there. I know that has nothing to do with the cabin. Would recommend the cabin for anybody that wants a quiet time in the mountains."

"The place was spotless and very comfortable! Convenient location right on the main drag and easy to get to Harrisonburg. For whatever reason, I was expecting upstairs and downstairs and it was only upstairs. The listing even called it a "loft", so I don't know why I was expecting something different! (That happens when you look at a lot of listings and finally settle on one) But it had a separate bedroom, which is what I was most concerned about. Some of the places say 1 bedroom, but it's part of the living area. Very well-equipped kitchen and nice full size dishwasher with all the consumables like dish soap provided. Would definitely stay again!"

"Everyone in our family agreed that our stay at Steve's cabin was one of our very best vacations! We all felt as though we had stepped back in time and landed in the little house in the prairie (though without all the work and with all the amenities). The views from the cabin were stunning! We took walks through the woods and hills every morning and evening, hardly ever retracing our steps. Our dogs were in paradise. The cabin was clean, and we found everything we needed on site.We are already making plans to return."
