Beautiful, quiet. Right on the river. New High speed internet!

  • Come relax in privacy or work a little with high speed internet installed 3/25/25.! 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath. Made for couples or families! Enjoy the Master bedroom on the main floor with a luxurious master bath. The main floor has an open concept kitchen/dining/livingroom. Hardwood floors throughout the home. One guest room has a queen sized bed with the other boasting bunk beds (twin over twin and twin over full). Bring the kids and enjoy kayaking, fishing or just floating in the provided tubes at the house. You can also enjoy the screened in porch with a cozy fire. There is also an open air deck great for watching the sun set.

    Enjoy fishing right from the bank in the back yard! Guests have asked, yes, there is year round water to enjoy. River is great for Kayaking, tubing, fishing or just walk down the amazing steps right into the river for a cool off. Owner can recommend fishing guide services or transport for tubing fun to end your journey at the house. Tubes are on site, 2 kayaks, ease into the river.

    This riverfront home has a fully stocked kitchen, linens provided and games to play. Can Jam, Horseshoes, ring toss, a pool table to enjoy during your stay. You won't want to leave the property. End your relaxing day around the firepit and roast some marshmallows.

    Our riverfront home is located halfway between Murphy and Hayesville, North Carolina (Just 2 Hours North Of Atlanta!) in the Smoky Mountains. Other nearby attractions include Brasstown Valley Resort and Golf (only 10 miles away), Fires Creek (wilderness area), Shooting Creek, Elf, and Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee is only 10 minutes away. Helen, GA is a short 30 minutes away. You can also enjoy the most amazing white water rafting in the area. (1996 Olympics were held on the Ocoee River)-30 minutes away.

Our group of 7 had a great weekend relaxing by the river. Such a wonderful and cozy home surrounded by nature and tranquility. The house was very clean and has everything you might need. We enjoyed spending time in the lovely screened in porch watching movies at night after floating on the river during day and cooking dinner at night on the grill. The host was amazing and so accommodating during our stay. All needs were met. We will definitely return!

The outdoor fireplace and tv area on the screened-in porch is perfect. The firepit right by the river was an amazing setting. The house is well-stocked, spacious, private, and lives comfortably.

What an amazing location! The river, the mountains, the privacy...this home has all of it. The enclosed porch with wood fireplace and tv were awesome (you could still hear the river even with the football game on!) We made s'mores at the river side firepit multiple times. Yum! The home's interior was clean and very comfortable for our family of 4. We played pool downstairs every night. The drive to the house from the neighborhood entrance is tricky, but worth it every time! Thanks to Dana for being a great host!

Beautiful Getaway

We absolutely loved our stay. Dana was very responsive and friendly. The views of the water are the best we have seen. There was everything we needed and more available which made it a great time (tubes, towels, sticks for marshmallows etc). Plenty of room for 7 of us to not feel crowded and have our own space. My favorite sitting area was the outside patio. We are already hoping to go back next year! Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous getaway on the river

This property was spectacular. Our family enjoyed the serene setting right along the river. Mornings on the porch listening to the water was amazing. There were kayaks and floats to enjoy time on the river! The house itself was clean and beautiful! My boys enjoyed the bunk beds and TV area downstairs. This was a much needed vacation!

Great location

Great location very close to grocery store and restaurants. The house and property were very nice and accommodating. Parking my large truck was a little challenging as you have to back down a steep hill if you want to be close to the entry. I got used to it after a few times. Really enjoyed the screened in patio and that’s where I spent most of my time there.

Spring Break!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful. Does show some wear and tear but the view is amazing. The beds are comfortable and the house has everything you need. The road driving up is steep so be prepared. There are some paved areas as well as gravel may not be for faint of heart. We would definitely rent from here again.

We have stayed at this property multiple times as well as others in Hayesville. This is by far and away our favorite. It is perfectly situated, we caught the biggest trout we’ve ever caught right in the backyard, and there is plenty of room for our 4 kids (7yrs-17yrs) to have their own space. Thanks, Dana!

The place was just amazing….inside out! The inside is immaculately clean, organize and accommodate both youngen and young at heart. We plan to see the foliage and this place does not disappoint us.We love it and we are planning to rent this place again this summer! Perfect for whole family!

We had a fantastic trip, and will absolutely be back! Only challenge would be if someone struggles with stairs. There are two flights to get from ground level to river level—having a hiking stick handy for the outdoor set of steps would be a great idea since there isn’t a handrail there. We had ages 1 to 71, and everyone found what they needed in this home. The screened porch was our favorite spot, especially in the mornings and evenings.

Peace and Quiet

Unplug and enjoy the sites, sounds (or lack of), and atmosphere of this home right on the river. Fishing was great! Ease of access to the water was a dream! Huge backyard that is flat for my daughter to run around. Spent most of the time either fishing or relaxing by a fire on the screened in porch. If you are looking for seclusion this is the place. Slow down and simply soak in all of Mother Nature.
