Haworth Old Hall is a very comfortable hotel located at the bottom of Main Street, about 10 minutes walk from the Bronte Parsonage Museum. We were given a warm welcome by the hotel manager into a spacious, very comfortable room. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent. Fluffy white towelling bathrobes a nice bonus:)

The house was on a quiet sudesteeet just a short walk from the main village. At night it was incredibly quiet. The beds were comfortable, great amenities for a long stay although we had only booked for a few nights. There was plenty of space and acted as a great base from which to explore the area. Communication was second to none. Very happy!

Lovely cottage in the Main Street of Haworth, within walking distance of the Brontë parsonage. The cottage was cosy, beautifully decorated, well equipped and very clean - it’s spread over 3 floors. We had a very comfortable stay and the owner was very helpful, communicating all the essential info to us by email beforehand. Would recommend

Property is in such an excellent location right in the heart of the Main Street in Haworth. It is lovely inside and incredibly well equipped, and the owner Michael is so accommodating and welcoming.
The property is upstairs above the shop, but it is very quiet and we heard no noise from downstairs. The car park is behind the shop, and there is a cobbled hill to walk up to get to the property. If it’s wet, this can be slippy but it’s a very short walk to go around the front to Main Street...

I had a brilliant time at The Dairy. It was a truly memorable stay. Fantastic owners who were so kind and friendly to me. Lovely gestures from welcome gift to kind communication throughout. Brilliant central setting in the picturesque village of Haworth. Peaceful and quiet. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Smart TVs with apps. The property has so many unique features making it an absolute pleasure to stay and I hope to come back again as soon as possible.

Perfect cottage with everything we needed, owners went that extra mile to make us comfortable with towels and grocery supplies we hadn’t asked for, ideally located right in the heart of Haworth, just a short walk from pubs, cafes and shops.

A brilliant stay in the fantastic Heather Corner. A comfortable and quiet cottage set in the location of the beautiful Haworth village. Brilliant owners who were very kind with both communication and welcome gift. I was checked with to make sure my stay was going well but otherwise left to enjoy my time. It’s furnished beautifully with intricate details and even quotes on the wall from local history. Fully equipped kitchen with washing machine too, everything is thought of for the guest....

Ashley was the best host. Very professional. We would definitely recommend Ashley and his lovely assistant Lisa, very accommodating and nothing too much trouble. We shall be staying there again. The breakfast is to die for, locally sourced and delicious. You could not ask for more it was all provided and presented with love. Everything about this hotel was 5*, the staff, the location and attention to detail. Go on give it a go, you will not regret it. Thanks Ashley, Lisa and not forgetting...

An excellent inn/accommodation with good food and reasonable prices. An old inn, much extend and beautifully decorated. Room are in the pub and 2 outside buildings. Only issue I would have is parking and access. . The site rises to the rear, both to the parking and the outside buildings. I use a walking stick and could just about manage the slopes and the stairs but severe walkers or wheel chair users would not. There is disabled parking (and electric charge points) availed. The pub is on the...

The best area to stay in Haworth is the area around Main Street, which forms the core of the village.
This area is the heart of Haworth, renowned for its cobbled Main Street that winds uphill, lined with independent shops, tea rooms, and pubs housed in historic stone buildings. It's very walkable and offers direct access to the main attractions, including the Brontë Parsonage Museum and the start of several scenic walks across the moors.
Couples looking for a romantic getaway will find this area particularly appealing. Staying here means you're just steps away from cosy pubs for an evening drink, charming restaurants for a quality meal, and the historic Brontë Parsonage Museum for a cultural afternoon. The proximity to the moors also makes it easy to enjoy a peaceful walk together.
Families with older children who appreciate history and nature will also find this area convenient. Being in the village centre means easy access to local eateries and shops, and the direct walking routes to the moors provide plenty of opportunities for outdoor adventure.
When is the best time to go to Haworth?
The best time to go to Haworth is typically during the spring (April to June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant and the Yorkshire Dales are at their most picturesque.
During spring, the moors begin to burst with colour, and the milder temperatures make for comfortable walks across the Brontë Countryside. It's an excellent time for those who enjoy hiking and exploring the natural beauty surrounding the village without the peak summer crowds.
Early autumn offers similarly agreeable weather, often with crisp, clear days and the stunning hues of the changing foliage on the moors.
